you can not bring example of the current government structure to turn a blind eye to the atrocities that these minorities have faced in the hands of the majorities... do not try to justify what has happened to them and do not try to implicate that they are being compensated through parlimental seats... the whole Afghanistan knows how their fear of return of Taliban is justified...

the topic is not about afghanistan parliment rather it is about the reality that every ethnic group in Afghanistan face and has faced through decades of civil war and occupation. it is not a time for us to point fingers at each other, or to bring the past back to present.. rather it is time for us to let the bygones be bygones and learn from our past experiences. lets promise not to make the same mistake... no matter who we are and what ethnic background we come from... only then we can work together for a stable Afghanistan for all afghans... for every single individual that calls himself or herself an afghan, for every afghan citizen... a country that represents every citizen.

and no i am not denying the atrocities against pashtoons, or any other ethnic group. but i am not going to equate one wrong with another wrong and try to for an equation with a right, because i am better than that. this is the least i can do for my country!

Divide and Rule is important to keep note of but we to be truly free of Imperial control we have to shrug away Imperial Notions of how our society's vitality should be evaluated

get rid of Regionalism; and State-Based ideas; Anyone focused on certain regions and Not Muslims as a whole as MeemWawMeemNoon is doing is neither for Afghans nor for Muslims.

Well you find those forces, exterminate them and leave rest of the Hazaras alone; then after wards we can send spies amongst Hazaras and find out which ones are really for cooperation which ones are actually Muhaqiq and Khalili supporters; and purge them.

There's no reason to blindly slaughter a bunch of people.

          MWN,

Peace can only return when we all forget the past and reconcile in all honesty, not still conspire as in the form of this article. Taliban are sons of Afghanistan, I will still embrace if they open their arms.

Hey, I do not have a problem with anyone who call themselves Afghan. The problem is that our theorical world is romantic. That is the problem.
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

Ok, so what do you suggest that Taliban should not be made peace with. Isn't what you say justifying in our case also apply to others?

In principal I don't disagree with you. Let these Hazaras to make peace with Taliban too. It goes both ways.

The Hazaras certainly have been portrayed as victims by the Western press. Pashtuns as the oppressors.

The reality is that the Hazaras have dished out quite a lot of terror on the Pashtuns, and the Pashtuns on the Hazaras.

They're definitely not innocent. But I hope, and think, the Pashtuns will make peace with them quickly.
