This man, despite having his maternal links to Kaniguram waziristan, has done zilch for them. I have yet to see any of his efforts in terms of getting rid of FCR, humanitarian camps, etc. If there is any kindly bring it forward. On the contrary reconciliation (properly done) is the best way out for us...however the ground realities have made many things muddled.

why si even important if he is a pukhtun afterall?
so if he cant speak pukhto it means the truth he tells is not truth?
and if he says this here which might have an effect on the listeners means he has some hidden agenda?

you people really need to understand people are dying on daily basis and if you cant say it that dont bother when someone else says it be it a punjabi.

Imran Khan is just the average Pashtun talking. No nationalism in him.

No to drone strikes, no to foreigners. Out with the current Pakistani government.

Bacha the war and destruction in Pashtun land is a culmination of problems and flawed policies that are coming to head in the region. This didn't happen with some drone yesterday or a NATO force surge. These drones, and surges are the ugly perpetuating result of these policies by the West, Pakistan and the foolish lack of insight by Pashtuns themselves.

If he is one of us, I would like him to help his people the best way possible, jirga, yawwalee, etc. I have never heard this from him or his followers. All that I hear is hot air from the guy. I can't take as a serious approach. Also everyone who has a political party including the Pashtuns have an agenda.

Imran Khan represents Punjab's interests ... One of the many right-wing Punjab-centeric want to be politicians that blasts US because it is supportig Zaradari a Sindhi and PPP not a Punjab-exclusive political party....For the last 60 years, West has been propping up Punjab's power but whenever a non-Punjabi force assumes power Punjabi chauvinism resurges in a most macabre way...Liaqat Ali Khan, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, etc. fell pray to this.

you shouldnt expect him to go pukhtunwali with you
or being one of us ,he is somone who says somehting which is fact.he doesnt have to be Pukhtun to say the truth and to be honest i havent heard many pukhtane condemning the drone attacks even many here on PF.
i understand that its due to those policies but take a look at the world the past policies shouldnt matter anymore.
just look at Egypt and tunisia that is people's power.
but the sad reality is in pakistan khalek de marg pe khob wude dey.

Millions of students go to school. Tens of millions of Afghans live in secure and peaceful environments as only those fooled by the Talibs suffer from American guns... so these TENS OF MILLIONS that have benefited from roads, hospitals, schools, etc...tell me what did Gulbo or Taliban did for your people?

Could you provide the link of the youtube video? Anyhow, I will not hesitate admiting him a Pashtun if there is enough evidance to prove that...

However, he was also naive to some degree.

You met Imran Khan, not only did he decide to look at you, he engaged in a conversation with you on politics, and, of course, YOU found HIM to be naive
