i disagree with this extreme statement, this perky fellow has made. if islam means peace, the religion needs to be explained to the western world, that has no idea about the basic tenets of mohammad. with angry and radical muslims in the limelight more often than the mainstream muslims, the western world is viewing islam through this lens..... i personally think the ideas, i have so far viewed of mohammads words and their meanings, are very good. i am from a democratic, secular society and i value what i feel i have gained from it, but i am also capable of criticising our lifestyle and know that we are heading in a very destructive direction. no-one has found the perfect style of governence or at least, there is no good example, at the moment. we all actually need more awareness of a deeper meaning to life than the physical.
islam needs to be put forward to those who don't know about it's finer points by a good muslim speaker.
