these people are pukhtane from Afghanistan and went to Hajj with fake pakistani passports.Saudi deported them to pakistan and pakistan arrested them and put them in jail.It seems that their money was also taken from them by pakistani police and other officials. Most of the people seem elderly and they claim they havent done anything except going to Hajj.

what is the point of going to hajj if you are going to start your journey by lying?
they money should be taken from them because they plane did take them to saudi. they should know better then going for hajj on fake passports. it doesn't matter where you come from. when you break the law, you become a criminal.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

the person who made passports for them and sent them should be sent to jail not the poor people. they wanted to go to hajj and i am sure most of them dont know wats passport or whats visa etc.
The one who sent them to hajj is a private hajj and umrah company run by some dudes in quetta. They should be arrested.

feroza, the way i am looking at it is, that if they were using false passports then in all likelihood, they were unable to access real ones. i am thinking they may be refugees in pakistan. i am thinking, yes they broke the law but they went on a pilgrimage, in a time of great stress and anxiety for afghan people. afghanistan and pakistan are both muslim, let's hope there is some leniency for these people.
i am assuming they didn't go on an excursion to assasinate someone like certain other false passport carriers, we recently heard about.

Pakistan tortures muslim ever since its birth ,just take a look at its history and take a look at this video on PF.
these simple people wanted to go to Hajj and they probably never heard what a passport is .
they went to house of Allah and got deported by the despotic saudi's and got put in jail by the evil pakis.just imagine old respectable Afghan men and women being put in jails with criminals just cuz they wanted to go to Hajj after putting money aside for years.
pakistan is a cancer ever since its illegimate birth by the british.

Angaar is totally correct. These people ask someone how they can go to hajj. Someone tells them give me this amount of money and Ill take care of everything for you. The criminal is the dude that made the passports. These people are the victims. The pakistani police just want to put these people in jail to see if they can get some more money out of them or their families.

Faye: I understand your point and i do hope the law is lenient with them... but

isn't hajj only farz to those who have absolute ability to perform it? if these people don't have the ability to perform hajj due to the current circumstances that refugees face in other countries, then hajj is not farz... it would be like going on vacation... u do it for your own pleasure.. not the ultimate outcome.

if making fake passport for hajj is OK, then shouldn't be Ok for a poor man to steal and perform his hajj caz he can't afford it financially? so where do we draw a line.

i am not a scholar and i am not here to judge these people but Islam is fair... it has been brought to us to make life easier... not to make it hell.

but i do agree with Angaar.. the private agencies that arrange all of this should be responsible
