This is a touching video of the core values of the U.S Armed forces; in the video we see honorable acts of human solidarity, even in a war zone. The video shows U.S medic soldiers in Afghanistan saving lives, and most importantly, lives of everyone, disregarding the identity of the injured. U.S medics were committed to rescue all, including the enemy, even if that meant that their own lives would be endangered. This shows true compassion and solidarity of this helicopter team. It is heartening to note that as this helicopter team tries to rescue even the enemy, they are being shot at by that same enemy.

U.S forces have been saving the lives of hundreds of civilians around the world, including those who were injured by IED’s planted by insurgents in public places. The same forces have also provided immediate medical care to wounded Taliban fighters and other insurgents who intended to kill US and coalition Forces, or, more frequently, their fellow Afghans.
Recently, the international media covered the efforts of US military in providing aid to flood victims in Pakistan. It is very clear that our efforts always come from humane motivations. Was it not the U.S. who dedicated a number of its military units to deliver food and medicine to those who were stranded in remote areas without food or water? Was it not the U.S. military helicopters?
In contrast, what did Taliban do to help in these crises, besides increasing the number of casualties by their indiscriminate killing?
