The answer IS the afghan's internal conflicts and disunity invited russians.
If pakistan and america were not involved they would have crushed afghanistan and pakistan and the rest of the muslim world. pakistan never interfered in Iran's internal issues because, Iran is a strong country, they have a system, a govt and an army sotrong army. but why afghanistan???? Because afghanistan has got so many weaknesses till now and thats why these weaknesses let russians enter afghanistan.

^ Emkhan is exactly right.
This tone of so many people's voices on here - including FULLY the bulk of the women - is so FOREIGN to how Pashtuns usually are.
There are some cads in every country and every group.
But they DO have a nice humble tone NORMALLY.
Respect elders, too, instead of mocking them.
It seems there is a quick shedding of all these dignified customs
by merely ONE next generation brought up outside Afg/PK.

No one needs to speak like this to anyone; whether Pashtun,
other ethnic groups of Afg. or American like me or Australian like faye.

I don't mind the way GYE challenged my idea. Absolutely fine.

It's the superior, mocking tone of voice which seems endemic in the PF
