He knows when U.S. leaves and if he does not side with Pakistan the ISI will be coming with the gauntlet
Again, nothing but your silly and absurd assumption. Karzai, the puppet that he is, does not even recognize a border between Af-Pak. In fact, his government might dissolve the minute Americans leave. The fact is quite simple, Pashtuns view your government, and the Afghan govt as illegitimate for the most part. The aforementioned is what many Journalists have said after actually speaking to the local people.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Oh my I am surprised you can spell the word 'intelligence'! If we have survived civil-war, Russian war, and now NATO war, we can survive any circumstance whatsoever. Unlike you, we won't lose a bit of land with each war we face. And Afghanistan is under Pakistan's mercy!? Hahahahaha! I guess that's the reason Pakistan is more scared of Afghanistan than Afghanistan could ever be of anyone! Remember, till today's date Islamabad is dying to make Kabul Pak-friendly, not the other way round. Your capital and your 'friendship' can rot in hell for anyone's part. And forget Karzai, handle your own 'chamchagan' who die for friendship with Indians, and also wonder why that is?

I think at times he forgets that Pakistans nightmare is Indians and Afghans being friends. As frivolous as he might sound, he knows the consequences of such an alliance.

why so much pride in history? its it as it reads HISTORY. what about now? the future? living in the past and not learning from your mistakes but only cherishing the few moments of glory will lead you to nowhere fast.

Again, another logical fallacy. No where did I take pride in history, what I was trying to make you realize is your self-contradicting assumption. Here you are telling us[Pashtuns/Afghans]we have no history. Ask your Comparative literature Professor to explain your irony in that statement. I obviously know it won't lead us anywhere fast. That wasn't the point. You are now raising a completely different card, the point is what you said was baseless.

            Army is self-sufficient
How is it self-sufficient? Break it down to me, please. I like to learn.

Resorting to the history argument already? Do you see how you contradict yourself left and right? This is like an Afghan saying we were superpowers so we might just become superpowers again. Everything requires effort, today the Pakistani government is not only failing, but according to many critics, it's at it's worst shape ever. Why is it at it's worst shape ever? I think you know the answer. You being part of a military forum, I am sure you know how much you depend on American aid, and how much you will suffer without it. Like I said before, without American aid, Pakistan will crumble into pieces. In fact, let's be realistic shall we? Nearly all your AF aircrafts hails from the USA. If the USA decides to get naughty, you won't find spare parts! And I am sure you are wise enough to know how much that will hurt you. Right now, your government is Washington friendly, you want to know what that means? That means Americans can walk around in Rawalpindi and shoot at who ever they want and get away with it. That means Americans can build a base in Pakistan, without you even realizing it. That means American contractors can roam freely and there is nothing you could do about, nada. So much for sovereignty, eh?
            the stats beg to differ
That stats scream US AID! The only nation enjoying a great status in the world is the USA. They can sadly blow up us Pashtuns and get away with it, oh and that too without a stain on their economy!

Calling Pakistan a "powerful" country is simply a joke. When you have a robust economy, when Pakistani citizens begin paying taxes, things might change. And hey, I will be happy if you guys work it out. I have nothing against ordinary Pakistanis, more power to you guys. What I do have a problem is when a Pakistani begins spewing hate and nonsense against his fellow "Muslim" Afghans.

Did I anywhere mention our victory on Russia? Nopes, I just said we survived the dirty war, which was played between Russia and USA, which Pakistan got paid for and Afghanistan used. So indeed, take the entire credit for your backwardness, barbarism, animalism, and everything else that comes along.

What are my thoughts? It's sort of an expectation. American blood is very precious compare to an ordinary Pashtuns or Pakistanis. There is no way Pakistan can ignore an order from the USA. I mean, we are talking about the USA here. Even at Pakistani airports the minute they see an American passport, you can see they are nervous from the get. Also, we should also remind ourselves that Pakistan will obviously put up a show. A show where it will show the public "we are doing something about it" but in reality, Pakistani government will talk the talk, but will fail miserably in walking the walk.
                  Pukhtoon blood, cheap, very cheap.
                  Sad, but true.

Gosh. Even worse. Who are you to tell Afghans they have no future? How does that sound? Who are you going to tell an Afghan, who is suffering after 3 decades of war that he has no future? What happened to your ethics and morals? Is this how you were raised? By insulting a brave nation? I am against people who constantly attack Pakistan, and I am certainly against heartless people like you who fail to understand the logic in their own arguments. I am dumbfounded, I just don't understand how someone can be full of such hate, and how someone could have such malicious intentions.

you are misconstruing my statements to suit yourself.
No I am not. I have quoted everything you said for that very reason. This is a little mind-exercise for you. It would be of your best interest to know that I hardly participate in the political talk section, but I don't mind taking you for a little spin.

We are not Afghanistan. We do have factories.
That's not an argument. I will still wait for you to construct a proper argument to support your hypothesis.
you are forgetting about China. and you didn't answer my question of how pakistan's f-16's flew for 15 years while under sanctions?
By getting aid from other nations obviously? Where is your common sense and why don't you understand that in 2011, Pakistan is dependent on US aid. If it was not dependent, it would have told the US they refuse to extradite the US citizen. But no, Pakistanis are not dumb. They know without the USA, they will crumble into little pieces. They know if they stop serving American interests, they will be a mess. This is the truth my friend. I don't mean to attack, nor do I mean to insult you, this is just something you have to know and this is something every common Pakistani agrees with. In 2011, Pakistan is suffering. Prices have sky-rocketed, ring your family and ask them how it is to live in Pakistan in these days.
                            I 100% support the United States. I'm not anti-American.
Of course you will. You have no other choice. Who else will pay you billions to follow commands? That my friend is not Sovereignty.

                            I hope you understand.

Pukis are funny lot…a fake nation constructed by the imperial masters under a fake ideology (two-nation theory) living in a fake federation, could not survive one War (1971) and they are going to tell us their achivements? lol
The difference is despite the troubles we have passed through, Afghans still have a lot to take pride in not to mention their glorious struggle for liberty and honor both political and militant, their Pashtunwali, and heroes. But what Pakistan has to take pride in except humiliation in the 4 wars that it fought with India and indignation at the hands of its Western masters, again and again, apart from institutional degeneration and moral, political, and civic decay? A well know harlot as westerns rightly call Pakistan.

There is a difference between thinking and knowledge, looks like you own none. Keep 'humouring' whatever you like, the biggest circus is to be found in your own community to begin with.
