It's true most practicing Muslim Arabs, not the secular ones, have a strong attachment for Afghans and Pashtuns in particular; my mom's family are such people.

I dont have anything against the common Pakistani or poor Pakistani people; they're generally good people who have good hearts and mean no harm to anyone. I feel for them as I would for any other muslim.

but the sad reality is Pakistanis in general, especially Punjabis, are looked down upon in the Middle East, and this is largely to due with their over inflated sense of importance that they shoo around towards others ....and it ends up reflecting upon them badly.
