So anyone who pays some attention to the news will know that the US has abandoned the SDF/YPG (Kurdish forces) to face a Turkish war.
US supported SDF/YPG because they fought against ISIS. This is part of the "leave Assad alone" strategy that Obama initated. The Kurds are victims of circumstance, considering their historical land is split between 4 "nations."
this comes after people said that the Kurdish region was strategically important to the US just like Afghanistan supposedly is.
Well Trump is a wild card. Expect the same in regards to Afghanistan and Iraq.
