    parsiwaan,

No they did not.. read history...in fact Persian empire was the only empire of that time that did not own slaves but paid their workers...
Oh my goodness, just a simple google can disprove your absurd argument. Please don't waste this websites bandwidth.

    Google

The Islam in Iran is an extension of Persian culture, which is in total contrast to the Islam of the Arabia. If anything, Persian nationalists, from the beginning of their history with Islam realized the power of religion and molded it to promote their hegemony. Shia'ism is nothing but Persian nationalism at times. Sunni'ism is Arab nationalism at times. And just like that other communities molded Islam into a tool that became an extension of their culture like the Druze, Bahai, Yazidi, Agha Khani, and Qadiyanis. Even Deo Bandis, Tablighi, and Bravelis are extensions of their respective communities.

The difference between you and the Islamists in Iran is that one uses the religion of Islam to promote Persian nationalism, while you use Western ideologies. Both are extensions of foreign interventions.

      parsiwaan,

By the way, civilized cultured Persian, learn to behave like a human being and not a rabid dog. There is no reason for name calling and smears. So much for being "civilized".

All you Pan-Iranist Persian nationalists claim to be civilized yet rarely show it. The love for Pukhtoons and Afghans you have is clearly evident in the multitude of YouTube videos your lot dish out to malign their honor. The response of the Pukhtoons have been far more civil.

With all that done, of course America is going to be make a base. You shown your own vulnerabilities to them, you destroyed your own country and gave it to warlords in the name of Islam, your people thought Pakistanis and Arabs are their Muslim brothers and we seen how they treated you in Refugee camps.

I have no explanation as to what can be could to American bases, but I am sure Najibullah did Warn the likes you before you started attending Paki mosques where Wrayuns told you about Shariat, Hate for the Kaffir but secretly they loved their American beef burger.

Of course America is going to be there, if their intentions are good, then what is the problem? Your happy living in America but seem very curious as to why Americans cant live in Afghanistan? Afghanistan is not even a country in my eyes, Only Kabul has a government, the rest are all ruled by tribes etc etc etc division is very there, so why are you so stressed about American bases? What about the bases they made when funding and training your Mujahideen during the 70's?

Barakzai, you seem to ignore other factors such as the Pakistan Madrassahs and the Afghans who preach in Afghanistan holding onto a Graducation certificate from places such as Darul Haqqania or binera Mosque in Karachi?

You, the likes of Wrayun and the whole Jihadists brought the whole region under the control of America, now these same people who complain about America are sat right now in America. It makes no sense to me at all.
Once again, I was born and raised here in the US. I am thankful I was not the son of a Malik, like Karzai who ran away from the fight, or a brutal KGB agent/Khad agent like Najib who beckoned me to Gorbechev's table. Rather I am the son of a simple engineer.

I am pointing out that you dream of a full territorial Pashtunkhwa. It appears that Parsiwaan does not want that for you. It also appears that with forward operating base Shinwar in place overlooking FATA right on the border of Afghanistan, there is no likelihood at all for a greater Pashtunkhwa that you speak of.

Once again, I am pointing out that regardless of who and what and why groups are there or not there, the bottom line is that there are folks on the forum who probably agree with you about an independent Pashtunkhwa. But they do not understand that what you offer them is instead, Western occupation by the same country notorious for killing off tribes and native populations in their own land. Why would anyone trust your proposal?

This is the true measure of a Pashtoon. After all, whatever the khad may be or the Talibs may be or the Maaliks may be, the traditional pashtun saying is that "Za dha wror khilaaf yim, wror au za the tarboor khilaaf yoo, au wrorr, tarboor, or za dha dunyaa khilaaf yau," or "its me against my brother, my brother and me against my cousin, and my brother, cousin, and me against the whole world." Instead you invite those on the fence to a path of self destruction, permanent occupation, and loss of heritage and religion all in one.

That was my point in creating this thread. It was to show the fence sitters out there that what you propose against the nature of the Pashtoon. The Pashtoon may be his brothers eternal slave and chafe, but he will die before an outsider comes between him and his land.

Now, those of you that desire permanent occupation you are welcome to join M16 and Parsiwaan and Toramana and the host of them. You have seen what they plan for you and what they offer you.

Quiet fortunately, I know a great many Uzbeks and Tajiks that do their people much more service and may not prefer Pashtun rule, but certainly do not want some foreign master above their head.
          Pak paki,
I actual don't even stereotype when i call you pakistanis the most inferior cultureless people who have turn into cult of dogs that damage all their surrounding...and i don't mean just inside Pakistan and what this cancer British creation is doing to her neighbors...even in your master land UK..go to the paki ghetto of Birmingham...my cousin is social worker there..what the pakis doing there will but jerry spring show to shame.

First Code of Conduct? What about Hammurabi's Code? Moreover, what about the fact that Hammurabi was a semite? You know semites... the well from which the Arabs and Jews sprang? What about the fact that Hammurabi predated Cyrus the Great by oh, I dont know, about a millenium?
So what? Are you trying to say Babaloian were Arabs? J maybe Pakistani? Reminds me of this paki guy in college...who used to claim "we ruled Spain" which made the people laugh at him.. or how Muslim claims all prophets were Muslim lol.

You see Sir, an education will impart you a few things: 1) The ability to type and possibly speak proper English. 2) The ability to reason with logic and not emotion. 3) The ability to do this very pertinent thing that the first ayah ever revealed requested man to do "Iqraa" or read.

Yet more then 95% of Muslim around the world are illiterate...and even those that can read or write have contributes nothing towards humanity...now if only if you people would put your money where your words are....but then those ayah and qorhan as a whole are full of contradictions and fairytales copied from fairytales of Christianity and Judaism. But anyways…since you are such an expert on Islam in this forum. Maybe you could answer me two questions, because so far, I was not able to find any satisfying answers.

          1) in Sura 43:77, a creature with the name of "Malik" is mentioned. Apparently that creature "lives" in "Jahannam", but there is no explanation. It is a great mystery. Maybe you could help us.

          2) in the Quran, Jesus is constantly titled "Messiah". Why?! If Jesus is the "Messiah", how can there be any prophet after him?! I am confused!

If you live here in the states, then I suggest you approach your former high school counselar about a GED.
FIrst learn to walk in two legs paki boy.

The advancements that the Persians made were many and Islam itself honors the first Persian Muslim known as Salman the Parsi, a sahaba.

Many? in fact 95% of all so called Islamic scholars and scientist were persian...read Arron Rashids statement about Persian! but what does have to do with anything? It was Islam that damage Persian and turn us from a super power into dogmatic boneheads in shape of Khomayani, Rabbani, Masjidi, Ahmadi Nejad and..

It is quiet fascinating that you describe Islam as a rate limiting factor in advancement considering that the early caliphate was quiet capable of mowing down the Iranian empire in a few swift blows with desert maneuvers. You would think that that the ubermensch you speak of would have been able to beat back a few "camel jockeys."?

That’s the point...those blood camel jockeys know nothing other then bloodshot, and violence....i suggest you educate yourself about how Islam...try to read how Franks stopped Islam advance into Europe...hint..war bounty.
All those caliphate and caliph...Omar sending troops inside Ali home and causing death of Fatima--prophets beloved daughter....Aisha fighting Ali, or how Ali being accused of killing Ossman, and the ruthless killing of prophets grandson...and all those inter caliph wars...brother killing brother, nephew blinding uncle...the list goes on and on...no wonder the world calls Muslim bloody savages.
No wonder why you all Muslim are the worst hypocrites ... look at you pakisstanis… you pretend to be supporters of "poor Palestinian children", you actually don't give a darn about them. Or take a look at "great Islamic governments" in Iran, Saudi-Arabia, and elsewhere. During the tsunami catastrophe in Indonesia, not one of these countries helped, while "evil western countries" sent billions. And while you hypocrites and your hero governments bark at Israel, you paksitanis kiss the hands and feet of the Chinese who boil Muslim Uyghurs alive. There are more Muslims starving and burning in China than anywhere else. But you hypocrites just bark at Israel ... because it's not about religion, it's just political ... and Islam is just toilet paper ... needed to play this game.

Regarding Pakistan, I will not repeat myself again and you can see the post above regarding the early history between Afghanistan and Pakistan and how this culminated into the Pakistani "Strategic Depth" theory that may or may not hold water. I think you ought to practice reading it so that your English improves and so that you educate yourself.

All you did was recycle the bs of some stinky daal eater...the same coward pakis who claim the reason Pakistan is successor of British raj for Afghanistan and the reason Pakistan continues to fallow British raj forward policy….is Afghanistan own fault...even when Ali Jenah clearly stated pakistan continuation of British forward policy in his speech…few months after of Pakistan creation. Yea Kabul must be burn…and imposing of Taliban are also afghans own fault. But don’t worry… there is a saying in afghansitan… Chez e ke awaz daraa Gelaa Nadaraa.

Bahar Malakul shohara had said a beautiful poem

Mr BarakzaiAbdali, I can't understand one point; how is it that you (as well as Wrayun) were born and raised in US in a complete Western environment having taken oath of loyalty to an infidel constitution and an infidel secular system ...and living by secular laws/rules by your own choice, and you talk about our occupation...?

Is this you people that have chosen a life of subjugation to secular laws of an infidel country or are these we that are the slaves? Look, the primary objective of the US/NATO presence in Pukhtunkhwa is not to impose their law on us; we would still be free to live our lives according to our traditions...The most the US/NATO might be having is some intrest in the broader region....I mean they would not be controlling our lives any directly...

So is it you that have chosen by your own coice to live a life of occcupation under an infidel system or we?

One thing I now can well understand is that, being raised and bred in US, you have little awareness of the ground realities on Pashtun land.

Please refrain from spewing this Paki boy nonsense. BarakzaiAbdali, on several occasions, clearly stated he was from Kandahar. If you can't debate professionally, then this site clearly isn't for you. We have hosted you as our brother(guest), but that gives you no right to insult our members and our community. We Pashtuns are courteous and full of hospitality, but consider yourself warned. If you want to question Islam[professionally with respect]that is fine. In fact, gaining knowledge is something I encourage. However, if you are here to mock my Religion, clearly you are in the wrong place.

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                        Greetings Parsiwaan,

You have the right to voice your concern in a professional manner. I just don't want to see you insult or attack my religion. If you aren't going to insult it, you are more than welcomed to stay here. However, if you are going to tell us how much you hate Islam, save it for another forum, we don't want to hear it. There is a difference between learning and mocking. Go ahead, politely and decently question every single aspect of Islam, and we will have many of our members attempt to clear your misconceptions. I, along with others, don't want to read your unsubstantial opinion if it mocks our religion. So like I said, read our rules, and if you stay in compliance with our guidelines, we won't be bumping heads. I have a pretty good barometer when it comes to recognizing a post full of hatred, or a post that has a genuine concern. So for the sake of whatever deity you believe, refrain from attacking Islam.

The reason i call him Paki is he recycle the nonsense Pakistani propaganda that destruction of afghan state, Kabul must be burn policy, creation, finances and brainwashing of afghan children into taliban were all Afghanistan fault for voting against Pakistan admission to UN.
Can you show me 1 post where he wished to see Afghanistan witness destruction? He stated his opinion, which he has the right too. Now if you want to show your distaste to his post, professionally offer your rebuttal. No one here is stopping you. If you can't offer a rebuttal without referring to him as a Paki boy etc, clearly you need to do some research on your part so you can return with a more profound argument.
and I don't know why these Pakistan citizen get offended when we call them Pakistanis?
I don't know about you, but I can certainly picture an American Afghan who hails from Kandahar be offended if you consistently, in a mocking tone, refer to him as a Paki.

Less emotion and more brains. Take a deep breath.

I am not against modernization or secularization of anyone or any country. I have stated very clearly before, that it isn't about me, and that if the majority of the people in the nation of Afghanistan wants a secular system, wants modernization etc. whatever you call it, be it. I even went as far as saying that if the majority denounced Islam today, I'll support their decision. That's not a fundamentalist approach, I'm not Sangar, mind you.

My only objection is when people try to blur the line between legitimate concerns and gross exaggerations. Not everyone in Afghanistan fighting NATO/ISAF is a Paki, Talib, Arabi, stooge. In fact majority and the bulk of the insurgency is indigenous, where the ideological leadership of the Taliban feed on their sentiments. Only fools would think that any occupation would bring peace to the region, if any. My concern is for the locals, what they want, and what they aspire towards. You can't shove secularization and democracy down a population throat. You can't enforce human rights, animal rights, apostate rights on a people who are more concerned with their daily necessities.

Let me better explain to you how this works. Aseer Jaan, if you want democracy or secularization, you will need to pack your bags and do it yourself. Please don't ask NATO or ISAF to do it for you. When they do it, they are going to be facing my people, your people, and with that they are going to be viewed as foreigners, occupiers, and their sentiments are going to be taken advantaged by others i.e. the Pakistanis to further their proxy agendas. Till the day people like you, Aseer Jaan, grow the balls to implement what you wish for your country yourself, without relying on foreign armies and bodies guards like Karzai, don't expect it to happen. Otherwise like the ANP, you'll be calling Pakis to come and rescue you, and to wage war against your own public on your behalf. Then you will be posting videos on YouTube of your Paki defenders dragging elderly Pukhtoon men from their beards, or executing young Pukhtoon boys just like we saw happened in SWAT. Oh yes of course, most of you decried that as war crimes.

You see, unfortunately, what you wish for, can not happen without the protection and intervention of foreign armies. And when foreign armies do come to provide such, our people die, mostly women and children, indiscriminately. The same could be said about the Taliban, and I agree.

                          That is my concern.

For your info...i don't love or hate Pashtons.
You continue to show your poor literary skills. As most posters here will note, I have backed a Pashtunkhwa, built intelligently and reflecting the will of its people. I also believe Pakistan is a failed and corrupt state on many levels that has created many trials and tribulations for the Pashtoons. However, I do not seek its violent disintegration or destruction for reasons I have posted elsewhere time and time again. My point was to show that it was not as simple as the stupid perception you are promoting, of an innocent Afghanistan, minding its own business, until big bad Pakistan came along and decided to kick it around a little. I am pointing out that the strategic depth policy (whether you believe in its validity or not) has its basis in these early responses the nascent Pakistani state received from its neighbor.

This guides us and informs us should a Pashtunkhwa be formed, as to how to interact and not INTERVENE in the affairs of our neighbors recklessly.

                              Now back to the debate:

You can eliminate Nadir himself from the argument and rely PURELY on Amanullah for the same argument. Your argument falls flat on its face with a single quote showing Amanullah Ghazi, MY TRIBESMAN by the way, did the exact same thing as Nadir did when consulting the hill tribes of FATA POST THE CREATION of the DURAND LINE:

                              http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/adamcurtis/2010/04/

“King Amanullah seized the opportunity. As the Punjab was rocked by protests and insurrections he announced that he was going to war with Britain. He instructed the Afghan army to invade India across the Khyber Pass. At the same time he had done deal with the tribes of Waziristan on the North West Frontier Province - the Wazirs and the Mehsuds. He promised them money and arms - and asked them to back his invasion. He was hoping to ignite a vast tribal uprising.”
Proving once again my point that the NWFP region of Pakistan has always been utilized as a backward or forward operating base for determining the outcome of Afghan governments and momentous events. Moreover, this precedent was set by Ahmad Shah Baba himself who would call on his Sadozai clans men as far as Multan to serve in campaigns and at times return to Afghanistan for internecine war.
Regarding your reference, I checked it out. It matters little because if you could prove your literacy and learn to read you would see that the Afghan incursions our army made took place in 1947 as I noted. You prove my point for me by merely repeating my words.
Regarding Babylonians being Arab or Persian; it matters little because the same question applies to whether the Persians of old were ever Tajiks or Uzbeks. You are just beating your self up and delivering your own hits to the side of your head. If Babylonians are not related to the Arabs then by extension, you as a Tajik or Uzbek or Farsiwan have no claim on Cyrus. For that matter Sikander gave your favorite people a pretty hard beating and viewed some of your folk’s mannerisms as barbaric compared with the sophisticated mannerisms of his Greek countrymen.

Regarding the Quranic questions you had:

                              I went to surah 43 verse 77:
Its elementary school religion, which due to your deficiency in reading and writing English, and possibly Arabic, you cannot fathom. The angels, in Arabic are “Malaaika.” The Quran mentions at various junctures angels of death and angels allotted to handle different tasks. This angel is the Malik of Hell. In fact, that is why they ask the Malik, to turn to his Lord and let them loose from Hell. Even a village Tajik or Pashtoon can understand what a local Malik does, why are you so limited? Who is the Malik of the Ahmedzai Wazirs or the Barakzais etc? By the same token that angel is the Malik, or overseer of Hell. Allah himself is called MALIK yaum ideen (or Master of the Day of Judgement). You need not be a member of the party being judged or even have human qualities, as this usage in the surah Fatiha shows, to be a the Malik of the day of judgement or the Malik of Hell. In fact it even reveals the brilliant literary style of the Quran itself in that it takes a play on the word for angel “Malaikaa,” and utilizes its root, deriving from the same source as the word malik, from the root that means “or those that own or possess” and then uses it for literary force as a title for the Angel that rules over Hell, but only at Allahs behest.

Regarding the usage of the word messiah:
Once again, did you even take the time to look up the word messiah and what it means? It simply means “one that is anointed”. Basically, it means “chosen one” or chosen to do a job. In fact, in the original Hebrew and Aramaic that make up the Bible, guess who else is called a messiah? You should be ashamed that you did not read more about your hero Cyrus… after all the Bible refers to folks like King David and Cyrus the Persian as… MESSIAH! Here you go for your reference:

“After his conquest of Babylon, followed Cyrus' help for the return of Jews; for this, Cyrus is addressed in the Jewish Tanakh as the "Lord's Messiah". Glorified by Ezra, and by Isaiah, Cyrus is the one to whom "Yahweh, the God of heaven" has given "all the Kingdoms of the earth".[18]
Thus says the Lord to His anointed [Messiah], to Cyrus [...] to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut: 'I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, so that you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, am the God of Israel. For Jacob My servant's sake, and Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; there is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, that they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things. Rain down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together. I, the Lord, have created it.'

                              [Isaiah 45.1-8]
Therefore, being a messiah does not denote an end to the prophet hood or any sort of special status other than that (i.e. you are a messiah)

With due respect to Admin Khan, you are the jirga leader and I admire you for your impartiality, I think I now have the right of badal but would understand if you prefer to me not getting it. So I shall take it until you rebuke me.
                              Badal:
                              Parsiwaan:
Now that you have been sufficiently trounced and intellectually beaten, you need to admit your inferiority. Rather than I, a son of Kandahar, being a Paki, it is time you admit that you, were beaten by someone with more right to the name Afghan than you. Does it burn you inside to know that my great ancestor, Qais bin Abdur Rashid was known as “Afghan” by his title and that we even subdued Genghis while your ancestors, your half breed Persians were ravaged by him? Does it burn you to know that the only reasons you exist is because Genghis decided not to kill off a few women in your province and instead let them live? Does it burn you inside to know that the nation of my fathers birth is called Afghanistan, or land of the Afghan and that you are a guest there? It will never again be known as Khorasan thanks to my ancestors. Now I took my badal, I think I shall take the Rasullulah (messenger of Allah)’s badal as well. Does it grind on your nerves that you have an inferiority complex about your inadequate education and inability to grasp even the most basic of concepts? Let’s see, Afghanistan is known for its fighting prowess and ability repel all invaders, India is the tiger, Pakistan possesses the Islamic Bomb, Iran is an independent nation, what is Tajikistan and what is Uzbekistan? The former is some backwater and the latter is being, per the wiki leaks cabel, ruled by the Paris Hilton of the East, aka Gulnara Karimov. I am sure she can easily equal those Arab belly dancers in selling herself. Your ability to communicate reflects all these latter traits.

Maalik, is the name of an Angel who presides over Hell and it is written as مالك
                                Which is Meem-Alif-Lam

Malik is arabic for Owner but means King, it is written as
                                : ملك‎

                                Meem-Lam-Kaf

The attribute of Allah is that he is Al-Malik. The King

Also the word for Angel is written as Meem-Lam-Alif-Kaf.

Bottom line - they are not derived off the same root word like you allege that Malik e yum e din is actually Maalik, the angel, malaaika, of hell,
