As an Afghan from Kandahar, I am confused. I notice that Pashtuns of Pakistan are in love with Punjabis, Sindhis and are directly serving as slaves of Punjab in many government institutions. The very same Pashtuns tell us not to be friendly with Tajiks and Hazaras.
If you people are so lovey dovey with Puniabis, how do you expect us not to love Tajiks like khidr(who is a senior of PF)? He has never insulted us here and flared many stereotypes. How do we do this? Are you guys playing a double game with this? You guys always tell us they hate us but today I met Kandahari Tajiks who couldn't even speak Dari and they were proud Pashto speakers.
Should we just keep a close relationship with one another and maintain strongties with our ethnic groups? Sold out Punjabi Pathan son of mountain is a perfect example for my claim. He has family in ISI yet we are preached to not be kind to our minorities like Tajiks.
ooooOOOOOOYEEEEEaaaaa!
How could anyone possibily not love us innocent, cuddly, cute, poetic Tajiks. lol
Good to have you back in the politics section Shlomnbay! Zma Kandari Wrora.
I dont care about tajiks, they are not related to us. It were you people who come to tell us with teary eyes that tajiks are killing, raping us and we believed you with closed eyes and showed our sympathies on the basis of tarburgerat.
If tajiks are good people then ok have good relationships with them, and next time dont spill internal conflicts of your country to outside.
Sholambay baby dont cry, i never intended to offend you. If you want to respect tajiks then go ahead. Why you are making your point by insulting pakistani pashtuns who have no dealings and interations with tajiks? Tajiks are not our headaches, deal with them in whatever way you want.
And why dont you start a movement for kandahar as separate country? as pa stargo de dagha kandahar gharezhi ao pa dimagh de dagha kandahar spor da.

He is a teenager so obviously his vision is short. I was once very amused by his threat to me that he will behead me with sword of khushal khan khattak.
I have even seen him targeting afghans of other parts of afghanistan just to emphasize that his kandahar is more important...
I like kandahar just because it is a city of pashtuns but he is demanding us to accept supremacy of kandaharis over all pashtuns.
I think we need consistency and maturity. There is no denying the fact that there are problems on both sides of the border. There may be Pashtuns on the west of the Durand Line feeling more comfortable with non-Pashtuns of Afghanistan. Same is true of the eastern Pashtuns. But that is not something expected. The compulsions of history cannot be easily done away with.
Afghanistan with its ethnic diversity is in existance for almost two hundreds and fifty years. And Pashtuns of Pakistan have been a part of the Indian Empire for at least 200 years. That is a long period and associations with fellow citizens and interests in the status-quo are bound to develop.
But whereas that may be true, it is also a fact that the imposition of history is not the only factor in human affair. We have cultures and notions of affinities and associations based on other things. Also, ground realities change and with that interests, inclinations, and perception of things change as well. Who could think Arabs would one day part ways with Turks after living with them for almost 500 years in the same empire (Otoman Empire) under the same system. Or for that matter an entire set of new communities would be borm from within the womb of Russian Empire in face of the fact that there was no movement or campain for such a purpose in those communities.
Another matter is, humans have needs and ambitions. Expecting that Pashtuns or that matter any other people will remain in a state of boycott/non-cooperation with their oocupiers/colonizers for two hundred years (since 1810) and not avail economic or other opportunities arising out of the new political set is naive. It is unwise as well although one may say that comes at a cost to political unity of the colonized people.
One should also see what at the end happens. Despite the thorough Russification during the Russian colonization of Central Asia, local identities and allegiances couldn't be entirely erased even though Tajaks, Uzbaks, etc. were part of to the state-machinery and loyal to a Russo-centeric state ideology and political system. Neither such allegiances exclude the chances of reversal of things to their natural order. During the WW I, millions of Indians fought for British Empire even though the British Empire was their colonizer. In WW II, 2.4 million Indians served the British Indian army. But ultimately, only the natural thing happened and the millions of Indians serving the colonial machinery couldn't block the freedom of Indian people.
Luffy, I am sorry to say it, but you have the same agenda that you wanted to advance at this forum from day one i.e. to sow seeds of division among Pashtuns and make Pashtuns more conscious about this Afghani, Pakistani Pashtun division.

Mara, I may be wrong but you are a Mianwali Niazi with Pashto as a second language probably having learnt to speak it while living in Peshawar.
Your first language is Siraiki just like Siraiki was the first language of the Son-of-Mountains. Now you may feel great by thinking that you have Pashtun descent but it is also fact that the so-called Punjabi, Siraiki, Urdu, etc. speaker claiments to Pashtun ancestry want to own Pashtun history but not their political aspiration of unification in Loy Afghanistan or a Pashtun state. The first and foremost loyalty of such people lay with the Pakistani state and nationalism.
Son-of-Mounains got weaned because he knew little Pashto compared to you and couldn't carry on with his campaign for a long time without being noticed.
