MI6 you asked me in private.
I will address your private message in public here. I’m not trying to offend you but I neither want to be your online ‘adversary’ or your online political ‘soul-mate.’ You’re way too quick to insult and curse people here and I don’t wish to be cursed at or curse at you. We having a saying in Farsi “Doori magar Doosti” so I will take that onboard and address you from distance but with love lol
Firstly, one of the reasons why I stayed on this board was because of the huge diversity of political opinions here. This diversity of political opinions is not screwing your people. It’s this lack of political diversity on the ground in the tribal areas that is hurting your people.
Secondly, LOL Pashtuns didn’t speak Farsi over Pashto, because of hatred for their Pashtuns. Some of your most “Pashtunist of Pashtuns” could speak little Pashto and/or only communicated in Farsi, but they were very quick to put on the turban and preach Pashtun superiority like Daud Khan. The issue is simple, when one came to Kabul and lived there...whether one was Hindi or Uzbek or Pashtun, offcourse one was going to speak Farsi. If I come and live in Waziristan or Kunar, offcourse I will take up Pashto.
Thirdly, the Tajiks my age I know in the west, 70% are too pre-occupied with girls, alcohol, and night clubbing to even worry about politics let alone have political differences. The older men who are interested in politics are generally more driven by self-interest than idealogy or greater good. Furthermore, Tajiks generally speaking are not very political...you guys and Hazaras are much more politically involved than us. The young generation in Afghanistan are somewhat different and are more politically conscious.
Finally, prejudice exists amongst all people. We also have prejudices mainly based on 'urban Tajik of Kabul/Herat/Mazar vs Tajiks of village' We also have prejudices based on skin colour and family lineage.
Peace.
You know what, I do not blame Pashtuns who prefer to speak Dari over Pushto. You know I have never witnessed such hatred amongst Pashtuns, I bet you guys(tajiks) do not fight each other about Skin colour or tribe?
Hardly any Pashtun on this forum gets along
