  • Indian-funded clinics open in Balkh

    MAZAR-I-SHARIF (PAN): Three Indian-funded buildings for health clinics, costing $450,000, were inaugurated in Mazar-i-Sharif, capital of northern Balkh province, on Sunday, an official said.
    The buildings were opened in Kart-i-Noor Khuda, Kart-i-Shad and Ali Chopan areas by Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Gautam Mukhopadhaya, Public Health Director Dr. Mirwais Rabi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
    About the single-storey buildings completed in one year, the Indian ambassador said such assistance from his country would help strength bilateral relations with Afghanistan.
    He revealed work on the construction of three school buildings, funded by India, would be completed in the near future. The diplomat promised they would continue providing aid to Afghanistan.
    Elsewhere in the relatively calm province, the construction of high school building began in the Aliabad area. Education Director Mahraeen said the project would be executed in one year at a cost of $299,000 provided by international forces.
    He said the building would have 30 rooms, including classrooms, administrative rooms and a libratory. According to him, the building will house about 1,500 students.

    A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

    For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

    The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

    I wish Indian personnel were not specifically targeted in Pashtun majority regions by certain misguided individuals, so that more such development projects could be completed there.

      Drona, Pashtuns dont attack them. Its Pakistanis who attack them. Kabul had even caught a few of them who are carrying out suicide attacks.

          ^^

          Pashtun=Taliban
          Tajik =NA

          Since Taliban+NA=0
          Therefore Pashtun+Tajik=Afghanistan=0

          Hence, ISI/Paki theorem proved !
