people don't want their daughters studying in the same institutes as guys which is very understanding. you don't need to have studied with men in order to work with them if the management of the place where you work manages it appropriately. in the long run when men learn to conduct themselves appropriately in the presence of women, perhaps we can look in to educating them side by side. until then, rather than educating one's child with loads of potential till grade 10 only, this is a fabulous opportunity.

Well by that time most of them will be married and so the parents will have little to say and most husbands now allow women to work, especialy if its high paid job only some really conservative will refuse, but than again this kind of girls also dont marry that kind of men...you have some exception, but the parents always try to find a husband that will alow them to work, they will even ask about that in advance.Originally posted by Golden View PostI don't see the point of women only university. People go to univeristy to enter work force later on in which they will for sure have to deal with mostly males.

Afghan women suffer the worst in the world, and this is a good step however its quite shameful that an Afghan woman has to be separated to learn, but that is the only option available to them living in a backward country like Afghanistan where women are stoned to death by hordes of men screaming and praising as if they found a cure to a disease.
I don't blame Islam for this, as Islam is quite respectful of women, its the mixture of Salafist wahabist indoctrine mixed with local backward cultural traits that produce such evil twisted men.
Don't most of you walk around in the west freely without fearing a man will look at you and judge you because you have nail varnish on?
Well in wonderful Afghanistan and Pakhtunkhwa women are not really allowed to walk outside out of fear from men....and many find this as an accomplishment which is pretty sad.
