Three Taliban militants have been killed while trying to abuse a girl in southeastern Ghazni province, an official said on Sunday. General Aminullah Amarkhil, Ghazni’s police chief told Khaama Press that two of those killed were Taliban commanders.
Gen. Amarkhil identified them as Sarhadi and Nazar.
He said security agencies are still conducting investigation into the incident but initial reports suggest that they were killed after trying to abuse a girl.
Reports suggest that Taliban have kidnapped brother of the girl following the incident in Shanan area of Andar District.
This comes as the group opposes violence against women.
They have been killing dozens of people on adultery charges in different parts of the country every year.
Most recently they publically executed a man on adultery charges in northwestern Badghis province.

Taliban militants have cut cables supplying power to Kabul amid a heavy crackdown against them by the security forces in parts of northern Baghlan province. More than two dozen insurgents have been reportedly killed and wounded during the crackdown since Tuesday.
Two commanders of the group Qari Bashir and Qari Juma Gul are among the over 15 militants killed in the operation.
Local officials say Taliban have retreated from many areas and the operation still continues near the provincial capital Pul-i-Khumri. More than 2,000 troops are part of the operation.
Meanwhile, officials at the ‘Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS)’ say militants have severed power cables in Bagh Shamal area.
The power cables supply Uzbekistan’s electricity to Kabul.
This comes as Taliban said during the Pugwash conference in Qatar that they won’t harm public utility projects.

look at them. they have climbed up on the power lines like animals. bloody apes.

DJZ, I doubt the people who are up there are Talibs, presumably they are the ones who are fixing the cables which were being cut off by Talibs?

if it were the technicians, they would have captured pictures from closer by and there would have been other machines nearby the stand. journalists get pretty greedy when it comes to stuff like that.

transgenders and transsexual people are well respected people because they give you no reason for discriminating against them. "hijras" are lairs and cowards. they don't respect themselves and are therefore, not worthy of anyone elses respect either.

and tror ba da nya wee. i have told you not to talk to me as if i were your pet.

no one buy these bull****. talib rejected this that they were behind this. statement lies on their official website. they have explained it,if they want to stop development projects or cut power cables than most of these projects lies in their territory, they would have easy traumatized the country. last thing no one on earth can math the resilience and determination of talib, it's does not make sense by calling them hijra.

Ok, let's say they didn't blow it up or cut off the electricity supply to Kabul during the cold winter months, government and foreigners are not affected by this because they have access to deisel generators and other sources of electricity, it only affects the civilians. Why are the Taliban not letting the government carry out repairs? They are asking the government to stop the operation against them in Dand e ghouri nearby or they will not let the government carry out repair works?

i don't know if they are stopping government from repair work, their official stance is they will never become hurdle in development projects, even that they welcome and will provide security to development projects if it is helping the afghan nation. and their is considerable proof to that. most schools colleges are open in their controlled area, telecom is working, bridges and roads construction were never halted due to taliban threat. according to them they will not become hurdle in TAPI project either.
"The Islamic Emirate announces that if any technical team seeks to restore electricity pylons destroyed by the enemy in Dand-e-Ghori and Shahabuddin areas of Pul-e-Khumri then the Mujahideen invite them to dispatch technicians and all the needed equipment to the area; Mujahideen will not only not create problems but will even do their utmost to provide security."
what you are saying may have some truth, what can we say then, if talib don't follow their own rules what can we say then
