I was just commenting that knowing the construction game in the US, it is very hard to believe that building is worth that much in Afghanistan.

India cares no more about Afg than the Pakis do, they just have different policies of projecting their influence. India's is more practical and Paki's is delusional and even suicidal to itself.
A bunch of slaves? what the heck does that mean? I'm sure its worth that much and it looks pretty expensive. Who cares what India believes in or not? the fact is is they are not attacking another country instead just helping it consdiering Afghan-Indian relations got stronger during Karzai's rule which this building project was also announced.

The people housed in this building are paid salaries by American money, they are under the thumb of American policy. Hence, slaves. If these lawmakers were to hypothetically do a 180 and rebel against US policy, many of these people would stop being lawmakers and go back to being warlords or unemployed.

Your stance on India is like doing the reverse on Pakistan. Pakistan supported the Taliban when they were in power while India supported the rebels. India was the "Pakistan" of the 90s, supporting anti government forces.

And my thoughts on this building being overpriced are based on my experience in the construction industry in the US where a building like that would cost maybe 150-200 mil in the US, in Afghanistan it shouldn't cost anywhere near that.

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Seems to be a proper waste of money, I doubt there is a more under utilized office.
