    Afghan_Soldier,
For Allah's sake since you were[or still are] in Kabul shed some light on this project. Have they laid the foundation yet? Is it under construction? I heard about this years ago.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

such a neat and clean place to live in...good look with climbing all those stairs where the lift is not working due to the power cut though.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

What a silly and ignorant attitude. Kabul has 24 hours power by the way! This is a modern project to a European standard. Watch the vedio again familiarise yourself with what it is.

I am glad to hear that. Similar projects were inaugurated in Kandahar city. According to Millitpal Noorzai they were also a success, I think.

Oh Bakshana darsa ghwarama, I did not see your response in the other thread. I'll search for it just now.

So you are telling me there is no 24 hours electricity in my house? The time when it used to be free is gone. You pay for and you have 24/7. I have to admit there were problems two years ago, I don't know about last year, may be when you were there since I never been to Afg last year.

If I had to choose a place to live in Kabul, it has to be the southern outskirts of Campanai, Khoshal khan mena, Charah-e- Qambar or Kargha hills. The majority of population in the mentioned areas are Pashtuns from southern Afghanistan and is relatively peaceful. They have their own Mosques and communities.

                              DZJ,
You turn out to be rather the silly I said you were. What are talking about? You talk more of the rubbish. No one said anything about any one being the Khan zoy, I simply told you that I was in Kabul last week and we had 24 hrs electricity? What do you expect it to free? There was a time when people didn't pay bills and it was all free, just like water from the well. That is not the case any more, so get that through scull incase you're thick, it is not about khan aw ghareeb! The point is there is enough electricity to be provided to every household in Kabul which wasn't the case before.
