    Wednesday July 24, 2013
Kabul (BNA) A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Eng. Mohammad Yusuf Pashtoon, acting head of the independent New Kabul City Board and senior advisor of the presidential office and Dr. Surya Dalil, Minister of Public Health yesterday .
Eng. Pashtoon expressed pleasure over the New Kabul City project which is being implemented with the coordination of related organs as per the strategic plan of the Kabul New City.
Dr. Suraya Dalil, Minister of Public Health talking on the importance of this agreement added that in accordance with the Master Plan of Public Health in New Kabul City, the first modern city, the best health systems will be provided for the residents of this city.
Ghulam Sakhi Hassanzada, executive head of the Kabul New City Project provided explanation on the contracts for developments of the residential areas for the city covering forty seven thousand residential units for around two hundred thirty five thousand people.
Creation of the health complexes according to the world standards forms an important part of the public health plan in the master plan for the New Kabul City.
The plan has been prepared as a draft and it has been coordinated with the Public Health Ministry and after its confirmation it will be implemented by the private sector.
On the basis of this agreement, the Ministry of Public Health will cooperate in creation of health services including building of health clinics and basic hospitals in the New Kabul City.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
