people live on the streets and are starving. And they want to build parks so rich people can go there and score chikcs or little boys.

Try to starve yourself for 2 days wandering around streets begging for food. And then come and tell me about the need for recreation.

There is no fun in Kabul. There is filth, poverty, hunger, crime, piles of rubbish, beggars and opressive military men. The only people who can have fun under such conditions are the opressors.

I want the money for parks to be spent on shelter for the poor, food for the starving and sanitation and clean environment for everybody.

But the reconstruction of a park allows some sort of clean environment, now does it not.

when was the last time you visited kabul? My mother just got back from kabul last weekend. From what I understand, even if they build 10 parks. That won't change the fact that kabul is a big pile of ****.

The ministry and the people in the cabinet and all of them must burn. Since they received BILLIONS. Yet, Kabul is still one big filthy nasty city where people get sick all the time from all the filth.

I personally think Sangar has a valid point.

The formula is that you can't enjoy greenery/Parks with a starving stomach.
You can't take your family on a day out picnic if you have no job.
You can't build foreign style parks in a city where there is no sewage system.
You can't spend lavishly on amusement when basic necessities are the wildest fantasies of poor.

Park falls into the category of WANTS and most Afghans are thriving for their basic NEEDS.
Now its up to your judgement.
