both are convinced by what society demands of them. The 50 year old men have money so therfore they can provide for their brides. You yourself once told an alleged woman on this forum that you "could provide". poor women are attracted to men that can provide. You know this since you used the tactic.Originally posted by RevolutionThroughReason View PostThe fact you use the term "convince" instead of force pretty much blows your case out of the water. You don't need to convince anyone when you force them. Afghan women aren't "convinced" to marry 50 year old men, they're forced. If they were convinced to do it, we wouldn't be having this debate.Last edited by khushal; 06-22-2012, 02:58 AM.

all my 17 husbands were not great providers. but i CHOSE to share financials with them, because i was CONVINCED that they were all cool dudes, with many talents who could make me laugh and could do a good green harvest.

which basically nullifies your argument about indigenousness, because being a proxy implies outsider meddling. seems you're only using the indigenous clause for what suits gives Taliban a scapegoat.Originally posted by khushal View Posteveryone is a proxy of somebody. if the people cant handle the proxy let them be.
It's ok we all know the argument is horse****, we just like showing how asinine the claim is.
