exactly; the very fact it has to "convince" them to do something evidence proof that despite all the attempts to sway their mind; they're ultimately the ones at the helm of their decision making. You don't have to convince people you force.
Now I'm not saying people aren't screwed up in the West, the West is full of dysfunction, but the fact they chose to be , put the West above whatever Pashtuns have to offer. Pashtuns offer a huge ego and a bunch of braggadacio about how conservative they are, but little to show for it.
and that's not western apologetics; because if I were doing that I'd be saying the West is infallible and awesome, which I'm not doing, but what the West has to offer is better that what pashtuns of 2012 have to offer.
