a.) Not everyone is doing it; so that falsifies that premise; I pretty much don't even need to go on.

b.) even if everyone was doing it, no one is MAKING people do it. Someone's tendency to conform doesn't make it any longer a choice, because they can choose not to conform.

It becomes a choice when majority are choosing right over wrong.
Not only do you have any statistical data to back up the claim that more people are choosing right over wrong.

Your argument is merely a an Arbitrary argument; this is nothing but your own personal narrative based on your personal suppositions which you falsely take as GIVENS

    this is merely a Non-sequitur.

When majority are choosing wrong over right, than there is something wrong with the societies system of living.
Perhaps but doesn't change that they still have a choice.

Everything else you wrote is just desperate grasping at random topics and appealing to emotion.

sure the pilots that are bombing civilians are relatives of the people they are bombing. The war is caused by family squabble.
What you say maybe true if violence didnt already exist amongst afghans/Pashtuns as a custom. The pathetic and cowardly scapegoat of always blaming some external factor for the endemic violence. I'm sure women are beaten and abused in Afghanistan because they're being bombed. That tribes are using the U.S. Military as YOU YOURSELF ONCE ADMITTED, to attack other tribes to settle scores because the U.S.

It looks like you yourself need to go and visit Afghaniistan and learn about Afghan culture here.

    OK what ever you say.
where did you get that the afghan divorce rate in america is higher than the national average. please provide evidence of this. I know not one afghan family in america that has had a divorce. When I say afghan, I mean pashtun.
http://class.csueastbay.edu/Global_Knowledge.phpif you don't know divorced Afghans, you should get out more.

Naghma and Mangal would be a perfect example of divorced Pashtuns in America ; so there you KNOW one
how is the american family when broken more entact than the afghan family. you make claims but can not back it up. dont just rant but explain yourself.

Because most American families aren't out trying to assassinate other family members, sure you may find occasional cases, but definitely not culturally endemic as it is in Pashtun society; even by your own admission.

1)Are you saying that americans are making the right decision when they voted for the Iraq war even though every other nation except for UK and Australia wa tellign the it was the wrong choice. They are making the right decision when every woman that enters a pub most likely ends up getting raped. Its all manipulation.
It is you who is grasping because you have realized your wrong and want to back track.

      2) The war on afghans is external and because of this the violence has increased. American and NATO troops are a curse for the afghan people. They bring nothing but misery.

2)Again you cant provide evidence of your claims about the divorce rate. When did I say its culturally endemic that afghans kill family members? I never said such a thing. There is no war in america that is why america is at peace but still for a country at peace it is the most violent int he world.

I did; you asked where I got it from, I got it from this researcher, now you have to actually seek out his research, he did a presentation on it. Since I don't have it available that's the best we have to work with.

what does political decisions which most Americans dont have any voter power on have to do with Going to a bar where you can choose NOT to do. It's a no brainer on how faulty the analogy you make is.

what are you talking about, first you say they have choice, then you say they dont have choice. they voted the guy who made the decision right so therefore they(the american people) made the decision. The american people were manipulated by the media into doing so. the bar thing is also manipulation. I already explained this. It all has to do with what is socially acceptable and what is not.
The media has a big influence on that. If the media says "science says eggs are bad" or "science says eggs are good" . they believe whatever the media tells them like zombies.

We're talking about going to a bar, not international policy

are you trying to use the old "switch and bait" tactic; ....go into a red herring about geopolitics .....and equate that with how people behave

No that's just you making a poor analogy

                          not going to work

choice is choice and they have a choice when it comes to bar going or not, what geopolitical decisions the president makes is outside of their personal decision making

                          • Western women/girls who go to a bar do not have a choice when they are drunk and intoxicated, and then raped. They are not in their right minds.

When alcohol is involved, women are most likely always raped.

You seem to not have any idea at all about arranged marriages which have not only existed amongst Pashtuns but most people within the Eastern hemisphere.

The title of this thread is ridiculous and reeks of Western propaganda

                            • According to your ridiculous analogy, women and men in the Muslim world are raped by each other because an arranged marriage in general can be construed by the likes of Western individuals such as yourself as rape.

However, women who are intoxicated with alcohol and are raped due to lack of knowledge are not raped because they made the decision to go to the bar?? What?

You know thats actually the typical thinking of an American trash male who goes to a bar to pick up women after buying them many drinks.

They have a choice to get drunk or intoxicated, and even rapes that happen in those instances, are small in comparison to rapes that happen from forced marriages.

In the end, they have the power to control how they act, if they don't act on it then they dont
