  • Afghanistan Becomes Corrupt Pakistan

In case the title grabbed your attention

Not in reality on any map, but thanks to fifth (filth?) column Western Afghan citizens who have no qualms about sending Westerners from their adopted countries to fight bloody wars for personal enrichment. These people are actually treasonous by definition (to their adopted countries). Dr. Afridi is a paragon of virtue compared to these folks:

Here is the sort of people that they have allowed to attempt control the destiny of the rural masses:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/04/wo...privilege.html

"The looming withdrawal of American and NATO troops by 2014 from the still unresolved war, along with President Karzai’s coming exit, is causing anxiety among the Afghan elite who have been among the war’s biggest beneficiaries, enriching themselves from American military contracts, insider business deals with foreign companies, government corruption and narcotics trafficking.
“If you are one of the Afghan oligarchs, where you put your money and where you live is an open question now,” Seth Jones, an analyst at the RAND Corporation, said. “That means you are thinking about moving your money and finding a backup option about where to live.”"

So basically, why the title of the thread is so fitting is that Pakistan is a country of oligarchy where a few land owners and folks who were British appointed rule over the masses in a sustained puppet show to retain hegemony. And thanks to Karzai and his supporters, Afghanistan's trajectory is in the same direction:

    Meritocracy <--------50% mark-------Afghanistan/Pakistan-> Plutocarcy

    A few more choice quotes:

"Emboldened after Ahmed Wali Karzai’s death, Shah Wali Karzai appeared no longer satisfied to serve just as an employee at Aino Mena. At some point in the past few months, he created his own corporation in Kandahar and then secretly moved all of the cash from the housing development’s bank accounts to those of his new business."

"He has told others in Kandahar that if he had not taken the money, Mahmoud Karzai could have moved it to secret bank accounts in Dubai. Aino Mena would then have risked failure just like Kabul Bank, another of Mahmoud Karzai’s business ventures, he argued."

I look forward to how the Karzai supporters will bend verbal gymnastics to olympic levels:

I am sure they have a predictable response ready:
NATO propaganda to weaken Karzai whose family are modern sahabah and truly are trying to store the money in a scholarship fund for innocent orphan Jan Zeb from village Beh Sud.

    Save your breath.

What do you think of these new rising political parties? Some are actually talking about 'reforms'?
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
