As I said, it might also lay on the location. I can bet if you leave a couple with no money in a city, left to their own destinies, there is a huge chance they will end fighting each day because of poor economic circumstances. In villages, like I said, there are less worries about how to 'spend' your life. There people just 'live' their lives, there they got time for their loved ones and that's why family-bonds in poorer areas are so much stronger.
