  • The World According to Monsanto

I have spent a lot of time today watching a series on youtube called The World According to Monsanto a 10-Part Series. It is very distressing, as in one part it was said that control of food is greater than bombs.

A different kind of war. "Monsanto is all over the world. It's objective is to control all of the world's food production . The result is that Monsanto is depriving us (South American Farmers....) of our food sovereignty-our ability to feed ourselves without depending on anyone else."

I think it is a MUST WATCH.

their aim is to control all the food in the world. they break laws in countries, such as putting in gm crops without permission from governments, and get away with it. small farmers can't afford to fight them in court when their crops are polluted by monsantos gm crap, (in fact monsanto sues the small farmer) or their animals go sterile because of gm products in animal feed. they buy governments.
    who owns this rotten company?

Hugh Grant is the present CEO

"Monsanto was founded in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1901, by John Francis Queeny, a 30-year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry. He funded the start-up with his own money and capital from a soft drink distributor and gave the company his wife's maiden name. His father-in-law was Emmanuel Mendes de Monsanto, a wealthy financier of a sugar company active in Vieques, Puerto Rico and based in St. Thomas in the Danish West Indies. The company's first product was the artificial sweetener saccharin, which it sold to the Coca-Cola Company."

...."In the 1960s and 1970s, Monsanto became one of the most important producers of Agent Orange for US Military operations in Vietnam. Agent Orange caused an immense damage to health, also for US-soldiers, not at least by genetic modification.[9][10]"

I was going to write a piece about Monsanto and other similar corporations a few months ago. Funnily enough it was Faye who introduced me to Monsanto.

My study schedule as well as other issues wouldn't allow for that though.

Some resources I was planning to use:

          Definitely recommend you watch them.

more info on monsantos friends in the u.s. government. seems as though the agribusiness is a big money maker for america. re-colonising the poor countries and enslaving them to debt
                and GMO crops.
