Faye one of my classfellow has left MBBS in final year. He went very deep in islam. He was tablighi and was hafiz-e-Quran....here in our institute more than half of our teachers are female and we have co-education. He bycotted all those lectures of female teachers as in islam you are not supposed to look at na-maharam. In gynae wards all docters and patients are female, he also bycotted that ward...he used to say that this worldy medical education will be of no use in "akhirat, the day of judgment"...while we adjusted ourselves to demands of medical field, he did'nt. He built a wall around himself and at the very final stage he gave up , claiming that he was given signal in dream to leave MBBS. Now he has taken admission in islamic madrassa.
Most of the permenantly muslims in west have adjusted their lives to varying extent according to westren life style to lead a tension free life. People like em khan who have spent most of their lives in pakistan, when go there to west, they find it difficult to maintain their previous life style there. They had to built a wall around themeselves from 'bad' influences...it is very difficult to follow a moderate islam in free society of west...like alama iqbal em khan has also grown strong dislike for secular materialistic west. Alama iqbal poetry was not centred on islam before his times in west. When he returned from germany, he was turned very islam-oriented and after that in his speaks against westren life style and approach.
My classfellow who left MBBS was atleast practical, he was sick of co-education, so he left it and went to islamic madrassa. Em khan should also return back from UK and should take admission in islamic madrassa.

First class of school starts with tilawat-e-quran, your every event in school is initiated with tilawat. Your urdu subject has lot of topics related to islam...your science subjects starts with chapter about contribution of muslim scientists...like i said you live in america, what the hell do you know about pakistani education system? Stop labeling it secular.
When am i labeling any thing? I was just suggesting things in the education system. All I am saying is I see pakistani society divided in two right now Seculars and extremists, there has to be a reason for this. Also Emkhan is talking about education, not me, he has studied in pakistan

He is curruntly studying in UK on student visa, unislamic enviroment of west has made him protective about islam. In order to survive there as a practical muslim there, you have to have extreme control on yourself, for this you have to go to extreme. He is becoming Extremist day by day in UK, which is a natural protective mechanisms for muslims in west. He should return to pakistan as soon as possible.
He is talking of combining madrassa and school, but he dont know that ulema themeselves dont want their madrassa system to be merged with colleges and universities, he also dont know the time it takes to 'graduate' from a madrassa by getting 'sanad'. Well em khan doors of dar-ul-aloom are open for you ,when you return from UK, go there for ilam also.
First of all I am not from a very well off family but a middle class one for which I am grateful to my Allah.
I have never studied in A level or O level but an ordinary govt school, I remember when I was in class 1 or 2 and we used to sit at the brink of a small stream under the shadows of trees writing with a chalk on the metal board and then a wooden board writing A, B, C, 1, 2, 3 and alif, bey tey etc....
and at the end of the school our hands would be black with the ink and sometimes our faces lol. our black caps and black uniform... I can't forget those days, so nice unforgettable memories those are.

Dear I am not talking about combining madarassa and school... It can't be combined because you have a system in our madrassas, it is called "darse nizami" if you know... Which can not be taught at the same time with that of the contemporary education.
What I am talking about is an islmic education should be given equal time in schools then there would be no need of madrassas...
And this is wrong that ulemas don't want it to be mixed... My dear, it is the beaurocrates and education policy makers who don't want the islamic education equally in the schools. They have their vested interests in it. They eat money from NGOs and other foreign govt funds. and those NGOs and American aidee never likes Islamic education.
The religious parties and ulemas that you are talking about have given their recommendations so many times to different govt but they were rejected...

My dear its my wish I study Islam more and more and practice its wisdom.
I wish we have an Islamic education system protected by Islamic economic, social and political system so that our people get rid of the so called educated corrupt looter rulers... Because the more they study in those A level O level schools the more they become corrupt and looters. Their greed goes high and never come down. Their lust for fame goes high and never come down.
