I never cried Faye but yes I am not like others who come here and get merged in these people and then speak the tongue of these people I mean not by the language but the way of life...
yes I love my homeland, my home and my family than anywhere else and than anybody else. I can't sell my soul for a few quids... I am not like those who are dying for British, American and Canadian nationalities. They spent half of their lives for winning those passports and talk about pashtoon and pashtoonwali lol.
Yes I am not like them...

pakistanis or any other muslims should not be under the influence of totally secular education system. Like I said, muslims must at all cost keep muslim values. If we loose them, we become the puppets of western culture like rest of the world.

It is already happening to the elites of muslim world, they are 100% western, and they hate their religion, culture etc....

Whether it's the religious education or the modern if given correctly neither of them are gonna make a child a Terrorist or a Fascist.

What we need to do is not to inculcate the seeds of a certain School Of Thought in the mind of the children what we need to do is to allow them to think freely and welcome their thoughts.

Education in Pakistan starts with Jinnah and ends with Allama Iqbal. Its a failure, Pakistan is a nation that is already suffering from a identity crisis and a big divide within the classes.

Pakistan is a landlord nation with zero land reforms.

Education in Pakistan will remain trashy and backward.

Let time take its course hopefully most Pakistanis will be educated enough to ride a bicycle.

              Just my sense of humor

This is true, but that's why we need guys like Imran Khan to come up who will change this feudal system and educate the masses.

Oh really? So what do you think with whose name should it be started and who should seal it? And you think that Pakistan Studies is all the education system of Pakistan?

And what does land reforms have to do with the Education system.

Oh Really? I don't really need to post the links of all those students who came over from the vary same Education system and are working effieciently within the limited resources available. The latest cheap Electricity one was very common from Magnetic Fields. The one who designed the Anti Virus and many more jewels like that coming from the vary same Education system ..
But not to mention this little kid, it will be bad .. Pakistani Boy - The World Youngest MicroSoft Certified Professional (MCP) - Babar Iqbal - YouTube

PS= In no way I am saying or telling here that I am completely satisfied with the Education system of Pakistan and it is perfect. It's not, it is having flaws but to say that it's capable of nothing it's wrong. Pakistan is having some really good universities like NUST, NED, UET, IBA, LUMS, Zabist etc and moving to the medical field KMC, KMDC, DUHS, AKU, BAQAI, LMC etc.

If I was in charge I would also make Arabic as a compulsory language to learn, to understand Quran/hadiths better. I really dont know why they didn't make arabic a compulsory language when pakistan was founded in 1947.

Also the biggest thing we have to make sure is that education reaches the deepest parts of pakistan, not just cities and not just for upper/middle class. The villages of pakistan are very backwards in every thing.
You live in America, what exactly do you know about pakistani education system?. Arabic is compulsory subject from 6th to 8th class, it also includes portions from Quran with word to word translation. Islamiyat is compulsory subject from first class to graduate level which teach you islam. I have learnt Quran from a local madrassa so i never felt the need its teaching in schools. You can go through '8 darjas' of a madrassa and can become an 'aalim'. Madrassas are for specialization in islam and school & colleges are for langauges, science, maths and social subjects.
The most useless subject is urdu. This langauge of UP and delhi become annoying after matric level ,it is unnecessary burden on college students.

There is no secular content in text books. Infact they teach you sura infaal in 10th class which is all about jihad...pakistan history is all about ideology of pakistan the basis of which is islam. First class of school starts with tilawat-e-quran, your every event in school is initiated with tilawat. Your urdu subject has lot of topics related to islam...your science subjects starts with chapter about contribution of muslim scientists...like i said you live in america, what the hell do you know about pakistani education system? Stop labeling it secular.

You have travelled alot across pakhtunkhwa and afghanistan, how did you cope with situations in which pashtuns said salam to you. And most of our mashar people have beards, did they disgusted you?

He seem to me from a well fed family as his parents have sent him to get higher education in UK. Most probably he had studied from british A-level O level system in Pakistan thats why he thinks that pakistani education system is secular. He is curruntly studying in UK on student visa, unislamic enviroment of west has made him protective about islam. In order to survive there as a practical muslim there, you have to have extreme control on yourself, for this you have to go to extreme. He is becoming Extremist day by day in UK, which is a natural protective mechanisms for muslims in west. He should return to pakistan as soon as possible.
He is talking of combining madrassa and school, but he dont know that ulema themeselves dont want their madrassa system to be merged with colleges and universities, he also dont know the time it takes to 'graduate' from a madrassa by getting 'sanad'. Well em khan doors of dar-ul-aloom are open for you ,when you return from UK, go there for ilam also.

i don't know luffy. that would be saying that all the millions of muslims in the secular countries are either extremists or not practising muslims. i think, if you have love in your heart, you can be anywhere without having to build a wall around yourself.
