KHOST CITY (PAN): A girls' hostel at the Shaikh Zayed University in Khost
City and the reconstruction of the Sharan Civil Hospital were completed on
Wednesday, officials said.


Director of Shaikh Zayed University Professor Dr. Gul Hassan Walizai told
Pajhwok Afghan News the 72-room hostel cost $ 87,3000 (41,170,700
afghanis), provided by the Counternarcotics Ministry.


In neighbouring Paktika province, the Sharan Civil Hospital was
reconstructed in six months at a cost of $ 559,000, said Director Dr. Wali
Gul. Funds were provided by the USAID and the project executed by the
Central Asia Development Group (CADG).

When talal used to post news of mega projects in KPK in development section then afghanis here criticized him for that and insisted that no, kpk is as backward as their afghanistan. One could take your words seriously if atleast Pashto was an official language in KPK and not....English for example.
Being happy about improved infrastructure while getting destroyed identitywise is something I don´t grasp.

Please, be as developed as you wish.
No one wishes you anything bad.
Move forward, raise your standard of living and live a happy life.

But if things turn ugly....and I am sure they will like in Baluchistan.....they are messy already......you better count on your FC and ISI who bomb the hell out of you.....

If reading such news is so painful for you then the obvious course of action would be to stop reading it.

Perhaps you yourself may not find every article interesting or to your taste, that does not mean that is the case for everyone else here.


Personally if I found out that a school/hostel/clinic had been built anywhere where it would benefit Pashtuns then I would be happy. If I found out that ambulances had been donated to a hospital that needed them where they could help reach Pashtuns in rural areas then I would be happy. If I found out that a city where Pashtuns live and one that has a very serious pollution problem was to get more parks and greenery and that city was one where there is a severe lack of such things then I would be happy. I cannot say the same for you. If you were to post such news then I would encourage you, not scold you.

No-one is forcing you to read these.

Yes, in development section I talk about identity.

Because building dams, schools and hospitals don´t mean a thing if you are a brain-washed suicide bomber, deprived of your culture, heritage and language, willing to die for an entity that uses you at his will.

Develope your conscience first.
Buildings made of concrete can follow afterwards.

One I can think of is dawn.com however I have not seen any such development news there recently.

Perhaps you could share with me some links to news from KPK since I assume you often read such news?

If you were to do so then I would regularly post articles referring to the area.

but as a political structure following an anti-Pashtun agenda it is not.

First, establish Pashto as the official language in KPK, then we can talk!
