Assistances in Maidan-Wardak
1000 needy families and widows benefited from assistance of Red
Crescent Society (RCS) in Maidan-Wardak province today. Bader Mangal,
head of Red Crescent Society of Maidan-Wrdak said to this news agency,
the assistance distributed to 500 families in Sayedabad district and 500
families in Jalrez district which were surveyed by assigned delegation.
The assistances consisted of rice, ghee, beans, sugar and tea. Each family
received a sack of 50 Kg of rice, a can of 16 liters of ghee, 10 Kg of beans,
7 Kg of sugar and one Kg of tea, said the source. The source added that
series of these assistances are continuing for destitute and displaced
families in other districts of that province.
