  • Western born/raised scholars sharing knowledge with indigenous Pashtuns.

There are many Scholars of various subjects of academic studies that cannot speak Pashto, yet their knowledge and work can greatly benefit the Pashtuns back home. I was wondering if there is a person, company or a scheme that has translated various books, pieces of information or even children's educational cartoons from English,French,Spanish etc to Pashto?? If their isnt any, then how can we work to do this? i believe there is a wealth of information and our people yearning to learn but are unable to. this could greatly enlighten our people.

The United States has turned to oversized puppets in its newest attempt to win hearts and minds in Pakistan, funding a $20 million remake of popular children’s TV programme Sesame Street.

They gonna have it in regional languages so you get a pashto Sesame street lol.

All these translators who work for the American military and intelligence will need jobs when they stop selling out their country to the highest bidder. I'm sure they will offer their assistance for the right price.

also, they may not have a choice whether to be a translator or not.

they arent just translators but interpreters which mean they interpret the situation and i can show you evidence that they also carry weapons.

most of these interpreters are from iran or Pakistan ,many higher ranking foreign troops have iranian translators or pakis (pathans).

many hazaras get better jobs with foreign invaders since Pashtuns refuse to serve them be it as an interpreter or else.

the same goes for Afghans living abroad, there are many non Pashtuns who pass themselves as people who know Pashto and get stationed in south Afghanistan while knowing no Pashto.I knew one guy personally who wanted to go to Afg and be an interpreter(pays loads of money)he was non Pashtun who spoke no Pashto and wanted to go Kandahar or helmand we said in pashto "da ghata beghairathi da" the guy picked it up and didnt go.

This is all for money and these Afghans are also just money hungry.

here are soem commercials about interpreters

YouTube - ‪Pashto Linguist career ATS "One Voice" Commercial.mov‬‏
YouTube - ‪Maria works as a Linguist in Afghanistan for Mission Essential Personnel‬‏

YouTube - ‪Imad is a Linguist for Mission Essential Personnel‬‏
de para de amreeka(for america)de para de Afghanistan(for Afghanistan)aw de para de ekhpel zaan (and for myself).

so afghanistan is not the priority.

btw the interpreters who are from inside Afghanistan get 500$ a month while the ones from outside get around 200000$ not a month
