Because you didn't mention how the resistance is maintained by the influx of non-Pukhtoons from across the Islamic world who are so eager to liberate holy Afghanistan for Sangar lala.

            Feroza khor and others,
I would like to put my comments in perspective. This Bismilah Khan's men are actively persecuting and massacring Pashtuns in Afg. I was with a friend who is from Helmand yesterday and the things I was listening to was scarry and it made me long for Taliban to come back. Their crimes against Pashtuns I cannot even talk about. From raping, looting, beating up even old people to shooting people randomly as sniper training. We need to stand up to them! I normally referain from ethnic crap, some times you can't help it. It is more than just warlords, Parsiwan intillegencia is even worse. They need to know how I feel about them. If I ever get a chance, I promise to get my revenge as a Pashtun. I even support Taliban now. So I would like you to understand my comments in perspectives. I don't care if some of you don't like them.

guys its not safe for women to be in police force nowadays
if they join the police force they will probably get harassed or raped by the corrupt individuals we call Afghan police.
why sould Afghan women be put in such a postition.
it is well known that even men are getting harassed by other counterparts in army and police. No respecful woman will join the police in this situation too dangerous.
unless they themselves want to be sexualy harrased.

Well, if the laws and the police are well regulated, it is possible that it will be beneficial. You mark women joining the police as incompetent and who have no self-respect, which to be honest is being very narrow-minded. How can you be so sure about a womens intentions? That she would want to join the police force in order to get sexually harassed. Toba.

i dont think you got my point
im not questioning the reasons why women will join the police in Afg.
im just telling you about the reality in Afghanistan which is that it is extremely dangerous for women to be in Police in these days.
offcourse women should be in police since there could also be women criominals but in this war time they shouldnt be used for achieving political purposes and for supporting an occupation.
and lets not forget police is also used to fight against the taliban so why put them in such grave danger for only 100Dollars a month.

" if the laws and the police are well regulated, it is possible that it will be beneficial."
well its not the case and i would agree with you if it was the case.
you are taking last part of comment out of context,it was ment to say that women will be disrespected by the Afghan male police.

                        Faye

the desperation level of Afghans have reached to the highest level.
Afghan men who join the police dont think about serving their country they work as police to earn some money to feed their families.
who in his sane mind will work for 100dollars a month in such deadly situation.
i understand that these women also have the same reasons which is to earn a living and "serve" the country but for women its even more dangerous cuz the police force is full of undisciplined footsoldiers of warlords.

so i rather have it like this : train these women and than send them home with paid leave untill there is a stable govenment.

well thats what they all say but the fact remains ,no one wants to put their live on the line for 100 dollars serving foreign occupiers.
they need the money to feed their children.

What will women do in the Police? Afghan women are already carrying their Prisons over their heads(Shuttlecock Burqa).

The Shameful way Afghan women are treated can be witnessed when you actually go there.

Taliban killed one Women Police Officer.I forgot her name, but she was of a very respectible position and admired by many. As Usual Taliban use all kinds of lies to defame her.
