Lol, there are so many people I know who don't know anything about salah, the farz and sunnah in salah and wazuu, they are even aged people.
Only now people have started teaching them and they have started practicing them.
So it is not so strange

And I bet it was really muslimlike of them to humiliate him like that. He probably did know those things because children are taught such basic stuff by the age of five. He was probably nervous or something.
But yeah, they would have earned whole lot more sawab if they had educated him rather than humiliate him.

Its always the same, the communists of the 70s and 80s didn't know what communism was, the Talibs of present don't know what Islam is. Such people are just sheeps and ignoramouses. These people should be educated with love and undrestanding.

This video seems more a home made video I mean a fake one. The questions he was being asked are very basic and the taliban should know them, I mean even kalma tayyiba and kalma shahada. Its nothing but fake.

You would be surprised that such people can exist. Sure they might have learned the kalima when they were kids but when you don't practice, you forget as you grow older.

Yes as I told you I know many old guys aged 70 and 80 did not know how to pray, the number of rakaat in prayer and so many other basics teaching. It was the Tablighi jamaat guys who started teaching them and now they are regular on everything alhamdulillah. and such people you will find in every village every where.
