No its not Yes or No question, because there are lot of labels which people use without having any idea what they represent. I am Muslim because it is the name which Allah uses for people who follow Him and His Last Prophet Muhammad pbuh.Originally posted by ډګروال View Postit was a YES or NO question
i don't know what term "wahabi" means for you? because Wahabi word was invented by British when they couldn't fight with Muslims in battle field and to break unity of muslims they invented term Wahabi and associated certain beliefs which were not right with Wahabis and this way they cut muslims power and they started fighting arguing within.
So i Call myself Muslim though i am very deficient in my practice(May Allah have mercy) but i know what are accurate fundamental beliefs of Islam.

There is no spirituality in wahabism/salafism. the soul feels dead. Also not to mention what Salafis believe about Allah, about Allah having a physical appearance, like (Hand) for example. This is almost idolatry.
A lot of salafis leave the movement, just go search "Salafi burnout"
The problem is, Pakistanis like you are just so much in love with Saudis, that you guys just blindly follow salafism, without even knowing about it properly

The more a Muslim abides by Islamic principles the more he/she distances themselves from certain evils of a western society that can only be appreciated by non-Muslims and the likes of agnostics. Take yourself as an example, in your eyes if I'm not getting pissed on the weekend or like my wife to cover herself instead of wearing a skimpy outfit when we go out someware then I'm a Wahhabi or an Islamic extremist. I'm the type of person that will openly proclaim I'm a Muslim infront of anyone, for you that's too much to bare or too 'Wahhabi' for you right? you are the type to have an English nick name for work and social purposes.Originally posted by Toramana View Postwahabiyath is a curse and a fatal disease ---And even many people on this forum are infected with it for example Manzaray, Dagarwal, unknown, etc.
I call praying salah as being the pinicle of spirituality, for you its putting on a skirt and spinning the crap out of yourself. Somebody that bows down to human materialism over the concrete laws of Allah have no ground to judge the deen of Muslims or put them into groups so keep my name out of bitchy lines until you are qualified to do so.----------

9:32. They (the disbelievers, the Jews and the Christians) want to extinguish Allâh's Light (with which Muhammad SAW has been sent - Islâmic Monotheism) with their mouths, but Allâh will not allow except that His Light should be perfected even though the Kâfirûn (disbelievers) hate (it).Originally posted by Karachi View PostThere is no spirituality in wahabism/salafism. the soul feels dead. Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, "There will be no town which Ad-Dajjal will not enter except Mecca and Medina, and there will be no entrance (road) (of both Mecca and Medina) but the angels will be standing in rows guarding it against him, and then Medina will shake with its inhabitants thrice (i.e. three earth-quakes will take place) and Allah will expel all the nonbelievers and the hypocrites from it."
