Asalam o Alaikum Dear Pashtoons/Afghans/Indians and Non Asian friends

Some of you guys know about global village and some of you dont.
Its an annually market place where different countries of the world bring their culture and show it to other people.

(started on 10th Nov and will inshallah finish on 28th feb 2100)

Since last 6 years Me and my brother are working to show our culture to Arabs and other people of the world through global village.
We make this place which contain about 50 shops where our fellow Afghans bring their handicrafts and Afghan handmade stuff to sell in this pavilion. We make Attan shows and cultural shows too. We receive diplomats and even ministers of other countries who come to our village to see what we Afghans have. Most of them get amazed by seeing our handicrafts and calm/respectul people who are introducted to the world as bad people or people of the war.

we make this place and every year we have to break it and make a new design. Last year we made Paghman door and before that we had Herat's mosque door. This year we went with mixture of Mazar and herat designs and i hope it looks good

This is all i can do for my Country and my Afghans just to show the world about our culture and let them know that we also love our culture and actually our culture is way older than other new cultuers.

(this place is a private property of Dubai gov and I pay all the charges from my pocket. I dont get any funds or any kind of help from Any governmental offices or any other Nation.)

I am sad because this year i couldnt reach there on time to rise the flag by my own hands but Inshallah next year as usual i will be the one who climbs up and stands the flag up there

LaLa that is amazing. I am sure its an excellent and heartwarming event.

But lala jan, is there any way you can hold a little donation there. I mean for each person that comes in, have a donation center available inside. Let them know that this donation will go to the people of Afghanistan, such as a hospital, school, or an orphanage. Just keep some sort of big jar, and let people know. You will be surprised at how many people will donate money.

Btw, i really like the theme for each annual event, its creative.

Are you also selling your dresses, jewelry, etc there, if not, it may be a good idea to do so.

Also you mentioned if to post up the former kings up, i definitely say to do so

Its a good idea to collect donations for Poor people but many people will start talking negative . people will start thinking that i am doing this for my own benefits and i might not give the donations to the needy ones. lets step out of this idea


Yes except me there are more people who bring Afghan clothes and jewellery.

11. handmade curtains,pillows and other household stuff
12. Normal Afghan dresses

14. Pictures both old and new
15. Old shaped Aftaba lagan, big vessels, Cooking utensils, Water buckets all handmade and craved

and many more items.


Inshallah once i reach there, I will manage to upload more pictures and videos from inside the Pavilion.

Lala i totally understand why you would think that. In a way I see that i have to agree. But you can make it a legit donation fund. However, since this event has already started, you cant do it now. Anyway how, its possible to do it, just an idea I hope to visit Global Village in the future, inshallah

honestly speaking, NOTHING. Its just the work of two brothers and i simply give some feedbacks... which they both appreciate and listen to lol

all i do is compare each year and try to tell Angaar what mistakes shouldn't be repeated...

^ for your kind info.. Most of the guys who help me make this place are Tajiks,Hazaras,and Uzbeks... Pashtoons love their money and never come to help us
This is Afghanistan pavilion and represents every ethnic group in Afghanistan. Our carpets come from Uzbek and Handi crafts come from Hazara and pashtoons. Hazaras bring the best jewellery and on other hand Uzbeks bring the best cloth materials. Its a combination of Afghans not only pashtoons.

In front of us is pakistan pavilion where panjabi,sindhi,pashtoons,baloch,kashmiri and others are having shops together and so do we in our Pavilion. When Pashtoons of Pakistan are still living with panjabiz then why cant we live with Tajiks?
