^I believe that is Arghandab district of Kandahar.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I wasn't confused because of the landscape. Alhamdulilah Afghanistan is indeed a very beautfiul country what got me curious were the slanted rooftops in the landscape.

Yes shlomnay it indeed is, but i really hope that one day we can say that and feel happy about it. there are military transports from over 43 countries coming in through that runway

Is the second one really Afghanistan? It looks very European to me.. Just because of the way the houses are built. Houses in Qandahar have a whole different architecture because of the climate.. MMmmh I don't know =)

            (Khalqa Sharifa I think)

            (Qandahar International Airport)

That's all I could find now.. I'll see if I can find anything else..

Daa zma lewanay Zrra gorah, daa sta lewanee Mina..

yeah i just confirmed it Its in canada lol..Look at the map below

              About Kandahar, Saskatechewan, Canada
Kandahar, Saskatchewan, Canada is a small community of less than 50 people
located on Highway 16, south of Big Quill Lake. It is a quiet, peaceful place quite different from the other Kandahar in Afghanistan. The area is good farming country. There are several seed farms in the area.
You will see all kinds of grain crops, irrigation systems, elk, cattle, sheep and horses.
This is the best place to see Big Quill Lake, and it certainly is a big lake.
Big Quill Lake is about 30 km long and 20 km wide, very salty and very shallow.
There are two industrial companies using the unique salty water, one makes fertilizer
and the other makes fish food from salt water creatures harvested by local fishermen.

You can get the best views of Big Quill Lake from Highway 16 near Kandahar.

                  Arghandab does have a river.
and Arghandab does have greenry and forests.

It has Arghandab river. That picture I believe is in Afghanistan Arghandab. I have visited Arghandab.

Actually no its not. This picture was taken from this website quill-lakes.com . Quill lakes is a website for communities surrounding quill lake, saskatchewan, Canada

The URL of the image --> http://www.quill-lakes.com/kandahar/...andahar_SE.jpg

Kandahar like many others is a community around the quill lakes. I live in Canada therefore i recognized the landscape. Slanted rooftops are built only in countries where houses are made of wood and there is lots of snow.
