Such a remarkable and beautiful city. Thanks Fish Khan.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
Yes Waziristan everything is in Pashto. It might be unusual to many of you. Even our advertisments are in Pashto.
Dear Qandem(fish),
I wish I can hug you right now for sharing these pictures.
During years of peace Kandahar was a great place for picnics and for visit. It was a beautiful city, but today it's starting to rebuilt itself once again from years of destruction.
I have many relatives who have come back from Kandahar with many positive comments. Give it few more years it will replace many cities across the country with it's beauty and infrastructure.
My Uncle who was just in Kandahar a week ago told me that reconstruction is at an all time high. Not only has the city expanded but the newly built infrastructure is amazing. There is construction everywhere you go.

Dear Admin,
I am honored to be part of great community here and hopefully it will grow more. I have noticed majority of the people here are united and one voice hopefully this can lead to brighter future for both countries and the people and stop the sufferings.
