Unless there's firing at the border or some deportation ****, it's not something most think about.

I must admit that while I was aware of the hatred and animosity, by Afghans towards Pakistanis, to a certain extent... I had no idea it was that deep. I'm also aware that Kabul is barely Pashtun (25%?). I'm willing to bet Islamabad is more Pashtun than Kabul.
Actually, all Pakistanis care about what Afghans think about them. This forum exists for more than 6 years. In the past 6 years we have seen dozens of Pakistani nationalists like yourself constantly whining about how Afghans are bad people for not loving you.

Actually Pakistanis are allot like Israelis. You know that the existence of your nation state is problematic and that's why others opinion about you and your country is probably the most important subject.

The reason why most Afghans in Kabul hate Pakistan is due to Pakistans role in most conflicts in our recent history. And partially because various entities have led a successful campain of propaganda against Pakistan. If people loose their wallet in Kabul, they blame Pakistan. Most people are very stupid and easily manipulated. Just like you Pakistanis. You are programmed and made to think that your country is great. The same type of propaganda and brainwashing was also applied on Afghans.

Don't act like you are somehow better than those Afghans who have irrational hatred for Pakistan. The way you carry yourself on this forum is just as bad.

I have been to islamabad and its an indic city through and through. Even if there are Pashtuns there, they will get assimilated to the indic culture of the city in the future. Kabul is definitely more Pashtun than Islamabad as you will find symbols of Pashtuns all around the city from street and area names to educational institutions and cultural influence. Ibn Batuta has mentioned 800 years ago about Pashtuns living in Kabul and many Kabulis who are classified as farsiwans persianized Pashtuns because Farsi has been the dominant language in this part of the world for a millennia.
I'm the type of guy who is Pashtun before Pakistani and I don't talk about Pakistan all the time.

I don't think Islamabad is that Indic. It's more "sterile" than anything. Plus the people of Northern Punjab(Potohar) have Pashtun influence and there are a lot of Pashtuns there who I am sure have influenced the city's culture, it's definitely not like Lahore. Also Pashtuns in Islamabad are not getting assimilated as they are there in large numbers and Islamabad is geographically close to KPK so they can maintain connections. If the Pashtuns in Karachi, which is far more Indic than Islamabad and is extremely far away from Pashtun areas, can keep their culture then so can the Pashtuns of Islamabad.

Glad to hear. I've heard stories of people going there and getting their asses beat.

I'd like to visit Kabul, but I don't know any forsi. I'm concerned that speaking in my warrior dialect will be a dead giveaway that I'm not a chinky mongoloid (you know... because their eyes wouldn't be able to figure it out).

Ummm... no. Where exactly did you go in Isb? What do you mean by indic through and through? I'm talking about population/demographics. Not language. Obviously it's not going to be in Pashto/talking about Pashtuns. I'm talking purely population.

If Kabul is really only 25% Pashtun, then I don't see why this is so hard to believe. I'm basing it off of my estimates, as census stuff hasn't been updated in Pak for a very long time. Per my guesstimate via living there, I'd say it's like 30% Pashtun population. That's the basis behind my comment. If you're saying my number is too high etc... fine. Tell me what you think it is. But it sounds like you're speaking from a cultural standpoint, to which I can not comment because I haven't visited Kbl yet, nor would I be surprised, as culturally Afghanistan should be more Pashtun given they're in majority.

Dude, I'm not a nationalist. Yes, Pakistanis will come here. They don't realize initially that it's a bait-and-switch i.e. it's infested with Afghans who hate Pakistanis. They actually read the words "Pashtun forums", and for some reason (no idea why) they think it's a forum for Pashtuns. I know... a very stupid assumption.

Actually Pakistanis are allot like Israelis. You know that the existence of your nation state is problematic and that's why others opinion about you and your country is probably the most important subject.
**** YEAH BUDDY!!! I hope one day in the future we'll be as rogue as Israel. India and Afghanistan will hate our guts, but we keep ****ing around (way more than now) BECAUSE WE CAN!!! YEAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Pakistan is seen as the bad boy of Asia. I don't mind being the bad guy. It's kinda fun.

But it's really india that needs to be raped. I just don't like indian types... there's a fair amount of closet indian supporting "pakistanis" on internet communities. There's 1 guy I'm certain is one, but I'll refrain from outing him.

Well, dude, I must be candid. I think Pakistan is kinda ****ty... I mean I was surprised they had fireworks for new years LOL. That said, I get grossly offended when indiots see people like me and that leads them to think they're somehow a better country. Same with Afghani currencies. I mean it's way better than tawjik infested afghanistan. But I must say, indiots are the MOST brainwashed, idiotic, moronic pieces of **** I've ever seen ever. They think they're such hot ****. Even when I was in uni, Canadian indians that I made friends with actually outright said Pakistanis are superior, and that indiots are really dumb, and fob, and lame, and dumb. These indiots think their indiot country is some amazing heaven silicon valley wall street space shuttle science champion. They're retarded. Their country is cr*p, but they will all collectively think it's amazing.

Just take the cue from online forums. Even here, look at the indiots (Karachi) and look at the Pakistanis. Indiots are EASILY inferior. EASILY. It's like that in real life as well. The problem is they outnumber us 6 to 1. That's a huge problem. But they suck. They only have numbers. Their best go off to the west.

Even go on facebook, and compare comments by indiots (total morons), and Pakistanis (also moronic no doubt, but less moronic, and every so often you'll even see some good smart comments... albeit **** grammar with rare exceptions). Seriously, do an objective comparison. Remove your Tawjik influenced brain and (at least try to) be objective and you'll see I'm right. Indiots are crazy biased and they think their country is amazing. It's insane. I actually admire India's ability to make such mindless drones. I envy it.

Don't act like you are somehow better than those Afghans who have irrational hatred for Pakistan. The way you carry yourself on this forum is just as bad.
No it's not. Feel free to be specific and quote me. I have over time been more troll-ish with Afghans though, I'll admit that.

But you're wrong. Not sure how you can compare me to the more nationalistic Afghans here.

I don't know what you consider Indic but to me Urdu speaking urban culture of Islamabad is Indic. Maybe it's different from Lahore but I haven't been to Lahore and it's sometimes hard for me to differentiate between the different types of Punjabis. It might be like difference between Quetta and Peshawar but at the end they are a variation within the same ethnic/cultural grouping.
Assimilation into the dominant culture will eventually happen, it's natural. I saw Chitralis in Peshawar speaking fluent Pashto and on the way to getting assimilated, In Nangarhar another Dardic people are becoming Pashtunised, it's a natural phenomenon. There were millions of Pashtuns in India and assimilated, their only connection to being Pashtun is their surname Khan.

I don't doubt that people have been mistreated. Not the best time to visit Afghanistan for Pakistanis. This is from yesterday's attack in jalalabad.

ISIS Attackers On Tv Station In Jalalabad Was Pakistanis, 1 Captured Alive. Pashto Afghanistan - YouTube

Tensions are high right now and normal people have to pay the price for what some terrorists do. Afghanistan has been in a state of war for more than 40 years. It has made people anxious, hardhearted and you might find Afghans less easy going and friendly but there is a reason for it so don't take things too personally. My friend who visited both Kabul and Peshawar said peshawris are much friendler and happier even though he is Afghan.

You don't need Farsi to get by in Kabul. Pashto, urdu and english would be more than enough. Just don't use "jee" after every sentence (lol) and they wouldn't know if you are Pakistani pashtun or from Nangarhar/Kunar.

I went to touristy places like shakar pariya, faisal mosque, murri etc. Was only there for a few days. I am not doubting the figures but wiki says 18% are Pashtun in Islamabad. Kabul city has more population of islamabad so even if Kabul is 25% pashtun thats still more than islamabad. I have been to both cities and feels more Pashtun than islamabad, just in the way people are, the atmosphere etc. I feel that there is a slight difference to what each of us consider Pashtun. To someone from waziristan, Kabuli pashtuns might be too persianised, to Kabulis, peshawris might too desified etc etc. I think you should visit northern Afghanistan and you might just like the chinks especially Uzbeks. They have far more in common with Pashtuns in terms of behaviour, culture etc than you would think.

Sometime I wonder whether people in this forum have ever been to Afghanistan. I visit Kabul very often, like very often, several time a year. The thing is I never speak Dari there. I only speak Pashto and they understand it completely. Sometimes I pretend I do not understand Dari just to test if they can speak Pashto, and it may surprise many of you, but they can speak Pashto fluently. Some of them may have an accent and some don't even have an accent. I have to admit, that it is hard to make farsiwans speak Pashto. They only speak Pashto if they are absolutely sure you don't understand Dari. What I also experienced that Hazaras are more likely to speak Pashto if they understand, but that may be my own personal experience.

Also another big assumption is that there aren't many Pashtuns. I honestly believe this assumption is entirely made by people who haven't been to Kabul. They are in east, north, south, center. I honestly didn't find a place where Pashtuns weren't located. It is a multi ethnic city and more mixed than Europeans/American Afghans think. The thing is that Pashtuns will speak Dari if approached due to the fact that Dari is lingua franca in Afghanistan. Even after meeting another Pashtuns, because there is no way to differentiate between Afghans regardless of what Afghans in western countries may claim. It is also due to the fact that they do not care which language they speak, because they consider both languages as their own. They will of course speak Pashto to you if you approach them with Pashto.

Regarding discrimination against Pakistanis. This is a fact that waste majority people don't know, but there are millions Pakistanis working in Afghanistan. You see all those buildings being build, they are build by Pakistani workers. The pay in Afghanistan is good and there isn't any language barrier, plus they are treated far better in Afghanistan than any Arab country or other foreign countries. A year ago my relative told people I was a Pakistani from Peshawar and I played along, people believed because they wondered why I didn't speak Dari back to them. I can tell you guys with all honesty, they literally didn't differentiated between me or an Afghan. Yeah, this includes both Pashtuns and Farsiwans, they didn't discriminated in slightest. Of course this was a year ago I pretended I was a Pakistani to see their reaction and cant promise how they react now, but I honestly don't thing there will be any problem in the slightest. Afghans in general are least racist people I have seen, they are far from what Afghans in western countries are portraying them and themselves as. These insults like Porkis etc. are unheard of in Afghanistan. People living in Afghanistan are far more humble than people think, and I think any person who visits Afghanistan will get a big awakening, because they're not in the slightest resembles anything the internet have portrayed them as.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

I know and hopefully Pashtuns in Karachi can thrive and work for the betterment of all Pashtuns since Karachi has unique benifits in terms of educational facilities not found in Pashtun areas.

I haven't been there myself in ages so can't say if everything is still the same but from what I know from my relatives who live up north its not too bad except for ocassional fighting. Best time to visit is either spring or fall and you need to try the melons, the best in the world. You can practically live on melons and afghan bread.

I gotta disagree cuz when i was in pak ans went to peshawar i had noticed this high inflow of punjabis in peshawar. I had gone to peshawar after 2 years of living in saudi and i had witnessed far more urdu and punjabi being spoken than i remember. Not only that but all the barbers near my neighbourhood were punjabis so i woild say that **** is changing recently.
