I've never attempted this myself. I've read about it, understand you can encounter other beings whilst on different plains of the astral. Have to be mindful of such things.

I had practiced hypnotism, mesmerism, telepathy but never astral projection.

Although I do Osho meditations frequently where you have to stop your mind completely for longer times. Osho even recommends killing of mind for good and live only by feelings as mind is the worst enemy human have as an obstacle in happiness and well being.

Do you need any guide for practicing astral position or you can do it your self? Is there any book explaining steps in this regard?

Is it the only OBE or there are some other kind of practices too? Is it a near death experience or safe? Is doppleganger the same as alien?

Ninjas used astral projections to scout enemy territories before infiltrating the base and assassinating their targets. But I hear most people use astral projection to travel through space and go on fun adventures with "spiritual beings" or "aliens". I believe doppelgangers are not alien, they are most likely earth residents - all though some would speculate that they are demons in disguise, but I would say they belong to the forgotten minorities of earth such as the Big Foots aka Yatties or trolls or fairies.

Thanks a lot for the information. All this is highly interesting. I had done courses of para Psychology but this astral projection was never discussed. I wana explore and more about such entities like aliens, Big Foots, trolls, doppelgangers etc.

From what I hear you can do anything like fly too even traveling to space. It is also very dangerous because you can do whatever you want like dare I say it.....intercourse or killing someone. Which is why I belive it's haram. I know this is practised by the Buddhist freaks and Philosoical morons who think they aren't real.
