A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
There are about 50 mixed Pashtun-Polish families in Warsaw and some students.
Yes there are a few Afghans who came here decades ago and married to polish women. but you can't call them Afghan coz they have changed alot and not worth friendship.
Yes here is racism but they usually beat black Africans. I feel very sorry for them coz i have an African friend here and coz of racism he couldn't go out and enjoy EURO 2012 football championships held by Poland & Ukrine together. otherwise it is safe for us, atleast i haven't been beaten.
It is a veryyyyyyyy boring country, a typical russian communist block recently turned to democrasy and joined EU. Virtually there is no job for foreigners here, half of their population has already left the country and working in labor markets of western countries where they have created a mess, specially uk.
I feel very sorry for my family, they are veryyyyyyyy bored here

If you want to meet young Afghans, you can go to any Kabul Kebab in Warsaw (there are few places, you can find their locations on internet) - some Pashtuns work there.
Sometimes I help refugees - I know lots of them suffer because of Dublin II.
