The reason why the Kalash people live peacefully is because they have kept their identity for such a long time and have always refused to change when occupied or invaded.
They should be honoured for this, they have kept to themselves for such a long time without bowing down to any invader or imperialist throughout time.
They have their own language, customs and music, for which has never been changed or altered.
^ yeah its true, i agree, they have rejected any outside influence, they are actually one of the oldest population groups living in the area for thousands of years. They are not related to Alexander or the Greek army as some people, dna has shown they are a old population group living their in isolation from everyone maintaining their culture thousands of years

I read somewhere this too, they are probably the original Indo Aryans that settled there.
Many of the kalash people kept their indentity alive but some already lost it.
Must be strong people that till this day they follow their way of alife.
Their dancing style is similar to the Greek dance.
They could be the decendants of alexander the great.
