^ that is the beauty of himalyas..they are covered by snow all year long. i miss the way kabul was 15 years ago a lot. it has become a zoo now.

Had good and crazy memories in Makroyan 3....i can tell your second picture its Markroyan 3......recognized it right away

The first two pictures are from Makroyane kona and the 3rd and 4th picture is makroyane 3.

And do you that empty ground in the 3rd picture, where boys played cricket and soccer in the evening?. So when i was there in september they had just started building something there. I asked one of the construction worker about it and he told me that it was a park for the ladies but he was not sure himself. I have to ask someone whats going on there now. Do you know anything about it?

By "Macroyan kona" do you mean "zaaRe Macroyan"? cause i used to live there and that's what all Pashtuns would call it.

oh yeah i knew the 3 and 4 picture was the 3rd Makrayon, the second looked like it to me because of that open lot area

Ohhhhhhh yes i think i know what you are talking about. The big blue building right? If that is the building you were talking about, its an educational institution, a female relative goes to it. Yeah and it is next to the women's park. The best bolani and shor nakhud is served there

Makroyan 3 was the most fun place.....ha ha love it.

To bad that the new big mosque have such color could they not use white or decorate it like the old ones you see in Mazar and Herat. that orange brown color looks terribel. I think Afghans have rally no taste....
