LOL yeah i live in the typical white neighborhood. You know the soccer moms, the stay at home moms, the dads that commute to work everyday, every Saturday morning there is the Farmers Market at the nearby park, every Sunday morning you hear the sounds of the lawn mower. Every month there is a community meeting about safety and new neighborhood events....yes yes yes, thats where i liveOriginally posted by AfghanprincessMfd you must be a suburban type person.
I totaly dislike villages...
But village life really is so nice. Its hard to live in it though, i am guessing you live in the US, right? yeah we are used to water being available in the refrigerator, where in the village you have to walk a mile to the well.

Sadly, most of our villages havent come to that. I mean look at many of the villages in Kunar, it takes a couple of days just to see a doctor. Laghman isnt in the level of a city life. But i really do think thats the beauty of Laghman. It truly is the village life. You go outside of your home and you see men joking around under the trees, just enjoying themselves. Children running around and swimming in the rivers. You feel the breeze from the trees and tall grass. Just one day, visit Eastern Afghanistan. Go to Kunar and Laghman. In those places, women dont even need to wear burqas.Originally posted by Master Khan View PostWow those days in my village are over.

Nope, not in my village. The women are so well respected. The men never dare to make eye contact with a lady there, i can tell you that. Every family knows each other very well. The non maharam men dont sleep inside the house, out of respect to our women, they sleep outside.Originally posted by Master Khan View PostStrage!, in our village every women outside hide their faces, I want to viste Afghanistan.
