Toramana, Nobody is forcing you to learn Urdu here. It's a compulsory subject because this is the only language spoken through out the country and is the national language of the state.
Now coming back forcing .. Even the constitution allows us to make our own language as the compulsory subject. Sindhis have done it, why are we Pakhtuns so lazy? Think?

there is nothing wrong in learning any language but there is something seriously wrong when you use Urdu vocabularies instead of the Pashto ones and mix Pashtu with Urdu.
I have seen lots of Pashtuns living in the other side of Durand line and not using any Pashtu numbers instead all Urdu ones.

Same is done with English and Pashto than you don't have any problem with English but when Urdu is mixed with it you get a problem I can understand why especially in your case

But new words for new things invented are good in their original languages why would you need and go copy a Urdu word? when you can use the original one?
I say this for both Pashtu and Dari!

I am not a racist but sometimes it really pisses me off to see my Pashtuns calling them selves Pakistani and sharing stuff like this, cause even the Panjabi paki wont come and share it here.

why is it a shame calling himself a Pakistani when its a fact? he comes from a country called Pakistan which makes him Pakistani..how can you tell someone its a shame to call themself Pakistani when thats where their from and born.

the website is called pashtunforums and incase you didnt notice there are 28 million pashtuns in pakistan (thats not counting the millions more afghanistan pashtun immigrants that pakistan is sheltering), there are more pashtuns in pakistan than any other country in the world so what makes it so bad to mention a pakistani cricket team.

what i dont get it you people dont admit you dont mind intermingling pashtun with persian culture, i dont see you complaining in this forum when theres hundreds of perisan songs posted and people speaking to each other in persian language.
