Pakistanis received a spanking that they won’t forget for a very long time. I wonder how the Afridi player felt.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

They might just win the world cup.Originally posted by Admin Khan View PostPakistanis received a spanking that they won’t forget for a very long time. I wonder how the Afridi player felt.
Pakistani media is claiming that the Afghan players are older and lying about their age.
It wouldn't be a Pakistani is he is not butthurt.
I was surprised they didn't claim any raw mosaid connection.

Because Pakistan is some super civilized first world land where that kinda stuff doesn't happenOriginally posted by Akbar View PostThey might just win the world cup.

I mean there's a running gag over Afridi lying about his real age. I think all non-Anglo/White countries have more than a few people that lie about their age.

I really dislike it when people quote someone without attempting to make a rebuttal. It's a typical tactic of Porkis since they don't know how to argue. Nothing I said was wrong. Ad hominem attacks are your virtue it seems.Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View Postwow that's some primo inferiority complex right there.

Dimwit, why would anyone have a desire to lie about their age? Unless they're cat fishing someone, or trying to cheat on an U19 team, there is no reason for it.Originally posted by Sarbani View PostI really dislike it when people quote someone without attempting to make a rebuttal. Only anglo (aka white) countries do not lie about their age? So Japanese, Koreans, Hong Kong, Pakistanis, UAE arabs, etc etc lie about their age too?
What you said sounded like something a white worshipper would say.Last edited by Elite Pakhtun; 11-29-2017, 08:12 PM.

There is less corruption in richer countries so that kind of stuff is less likely to slip through the cracks. I know someone that made it to the lower tier rung domestic cricket in Pakistan and he put his age as 4 years younger or so. He said everyone does it. There's also that meme about Afridi for a reason. You can be naive about it all you want. But if you say that Pakistanis don't lie about their age, then it's hypocritical to accuse Afghans of doing the same (not saying you did that, just generally saying).Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostDimwit, why would anyone have a desire to lie about their age? I think you're missing the point bro. You first said white countries, now you're changing it to rich countries. 2 different things.Originally posted by Sarbani View PostThere is less corruption in richer countries so that kind of stuff is less likely to slip through the cracks. The white country thing was something a person with an inferiority complex would say.

I said rich countries for emphasis. How many non-White rich first world countries are cricketing giants?Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostI think you're missing the point bro. You first said white countries, now you're changing it to rich countries. 2 different things.

Its not about desire, its some thing every Pakistani cricketer do to stay as long in cricket as possible. There was a TV program about it. Once they crosses 30 , there are various efforts to make them retire. A 33 year old is labelled "too old" whenever he performs poorly. A 27 year old cricketer of Pakistan is actually 31 or 32 year old. Age is important factor for bowlers as their peak time and fitness is below thirty years. If he is telling his actual age of 35 or 37, they are going to pressurize him into retirement.Originally posted by Elite Pakhtun View PostDimwit, why would anyone have a desire to lie about their age? Cricketers have a longer shelf life than other sportsmen. They usually last until 40. The only other sport I can think of with shelf life that high, or higher, is golf.Originally posted by Samandri View PostIts not about desire, its some thing every Pakistani cricketer do to stay as long in cricket as possible. Anyways, I'm not denying this happens. I'm sure it does. I'm just pointing out the other guy said the thing about anglo countries and age. Sounded inferiority complex-y.
