Zamir Safi is MMA champion

MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter Zamir Safi is MMA champion as he finished his
amateur career in style beating Steven Helman in first round of the bout to
win his first career tittle at the Great Falls Rumble event on Friday night in
Montana, Canada.
The Afghan born fighter representing team PFA (Progressive Fighting
Academy) from Canada has put the disappointment of his last fight, which he
lost via a split decision, to bed after winning the last night fight and as a
result grabbing his first ever title.
The new Fightforce champion, Zamir Safi appreciated the support he received
from friends and fans on his social media account, Facebook.
“Our first belt!! Thanks everyone for the support!!
The new Fightforce 125 lbs., MMA, champion can now look forward to making
his professional début against Rick Phiefer at the “Xcessive Force Fighting
Championship 2 – Grande Praire in association with Prestige Fighting
Championships” event on the 20th of July next month announced by
Progressive Fighting Academy on their website.
While the new champion, Zamir Safi, was celebrating his first title, his fight
partner and a close friend, Khalil Azizi, didn’t have to get into the octagon ring
as his rival of the night, Collin Lee, pulled out of the fight presumably due to
illness.
Khalil may have to find someone else and wait for another day to fight in order
to follow in the footstep of Zamir Safi by winning a MMA title. Though the way
Khalil Aziz is performing it’s only a matter of time before he is crowned
champion of some sort in the near future.
