A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I am not an expert on Pashto but I think that there are at least few words in Pashto for graveyard If you used one Farsi word you could also use the Farsi sentence order and then your fourth name would be qabreston-e emperotori
of all the objections that one might have against this kid's character, you choose his inability or unwillingness to choose a pashtu nickname to prove his fake pashtunhood??
You are a linguistic. You of all should understand one's admiration for a language that is not nessacerliy one's mother's tongue. Farsi is a beautiful language and a Pashtun admiring it does not make him less of what he is. I did not expect this type of garbage from you but thanks from removing the misconception I had of you from my head.

                            • I have to disappoint you one more time DZJ - I am not a linguist.
And maybe one more time - I don't think that Dari is a beautiful language and I don't like it from all my heart. Even my Dari teacher says that when I speak Dari I sound like a Pashtana speaking Dari. De gustibus non est disputandum.

Is GOE a fake Pashtun? I don't think so. He always emphasizes his Pashtunhood so I'm always surprised when he uses Farsi names.

I know. But from my point of view, when I learn Pashto, if possible, I want to know Pasho words, not its Farsi or Arabic replacements. Even when my Pashto prof says an Arabic/Farsi word I always ask him about a Pashto word.

Ah, when you call me goley I know you are a real GOE
