  • NZ bowl; Guptill in, Phangiso debuts for SA

Toss New Zealand chose to field v South Africa

Brendon McCullum won the toss again, but this time he asked South Africa to have a bat in the first Twenty20 international to be played in East London. New Zealand had been rolled over for 86 in the first game in Durban after McCullum chose to bat.
Martin Guptill recovered from his stomach bug to come in at the top of the order in place of Peter Fulton. The hosts handed a debut to the left-arm spinner Aaron Phangiso, who had an impressive Champions League Twenty20 2012 for the Lions franchise. Phangiso replaced the injured allrounder Chris Morris. Dale Steyn was slated to play only the first match, and his place for the second was taken by Morne Morkel.
South Africa 1 Richard Levi, 2 Henry Davids, 3 Faf du Plessis (capt), 4 Quinton de Kock (wk), 5 Farhaan Behardien, 6 David Miller, 7 Robin Peterson, 8 Ryan McLaren, 9 Aaron Phangiso, 10 Morne Morkel, 11 Rory Kleinveldt
New Zealand 1 Rob Nicol, 2 Martin Guptill, 3 Brendon McCullum (capt & wk), 4 James Franklin, 5 Colin Munro, 6 Corey Anderson, 7 Nathan McCullum, 8 Jimmy Neesham, 9 Doug Bracewell, 10 Ronnie Hira, 11 Mitchell McClenaghan
Bismillah, alhamdulillah, all praises due to Allah and may Allah increase the honor of Prophet Muhammad and protect our nation from any harm.
