  • Permaul debuts, West Indies bowl in must-win game

Toss West Indies chose to bowl v Bangladesh

Darren Sammy won his third straight toss and decided to bowl first in Mirpur, keeping in mind the dew that will set in later on in the evening. After experiencing two unexpected defeats in Khulna, West Indies are in a must-win scenario as they look to save the series. Bangladesh are just one win away from taking an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Kieran Powell replaced Simmons at the top, while the left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul got his first opportunity in one-dayers, after impressing in the Tests in his first series with West Indies.
Bangladesh had to make a forced change, after the fast bowler Abul Hasan had to pull out of the series due to a side strain. He was replaced by Rubel Hossain.
