Toss Bangladesh chose to bat v Pakistan
Bangladesh chose to bat first in the final match of the group stage. To make it to the next stage, Bangladesh needed to not only win, but win by 36 runs. They made one change to the XI that lost to new Zealand, bringing in fast bowler Abul Hasan ahead of left-arm spinner Elias Sunny. Pakistan retained the XI that beat New Zealand.
