Afghanistan at the Olympics

The facilities are ok but one can never have enough resources. If they win another medal then they have overachieved, taking into account the fact that Khushals londawals are blowing themselves and everything else up, and would rather use the sporting facilities for executions.
I'm lead to believe that there will be more direct funding of specific sports after this Olympics. A similar corporate restructure will be initiated to the new Afghan Premier League Soccer. Sports where we have a history of competency will be encouraged, sports such as Wrestling (hugely popular in north but dying out due to soccer), Taekwondo, Judo and Weightlifting, we have a good chance at and will be encouraged through funding. Whereas, Track and field is a waste of time for light skins and will not be prioritized for funding.

we are proud of the athletes representing afghanistan, what you need to get used to is these non pashtun athletes waving the flag of "afghanistan" as you put it.There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

well nothing is going to change while you people wave the flag of afghanistanThere are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Better to be conquered by world super power Russians in 18th century than by Punjos like your brethern are up until today, don't you think?Originally posted by khushal View PostYou can thank the pashtuns for saving it. look what happened to the tajiks in tajikistan, their biggest exports are mail order brides to the west.
your welcome by the way.
The british came through khaibar, nangarhar, paktia into Kabul. They were stopped at Kabul by the sword of Ghazi Mir Bacha Khan, Mir Mesjeedi Khan! If there was more Zazai's in North, then they would bought their way all the way to Takhar, but they didn't, they couldn't! Ask yourself, why?
Hint: People who were not for lease or for sale.

The only time Wardaks would've fought alongside Kohistani and Koh Damani would be in Kabul city, when there was local Kabuli uprisings against British, and people from the villages north and south of Kabul felt the need to intrude on Kabul. Otherwise, I have seen no record of Kohistani/Koh Damanis, fighting along side, or under or over Wardaks.
There's nothing to correct. I did specifically mention the Kabul incident.
It is sad that people here are mixing politics with sport though I guess it was inevtiable.
Anyway, welcome to the forum IsmailSamani.---

The brits were slaughtered in those areas you mention. Unlike you cowards who couldnt defend northern afghansitan from the ruskies during abdur rahmans time. He was forced to settle pashtuns in kunduz to defend it from the ruskies.
Mir Masjeedi Khan was one of many warriors who fought the Brits. But he is the only one you have.
Where were your brave men when Zazis went into Shomali and your men ran off to the hills and left their women behind during the 1929 episode.
